so I wanted to do a death sound when I die , i recorded it on my phone and change the format to OGG , then i transferred it to the PC and named it explode_11 , then i replaced the file and loaded GD but there was nothing when I died. how?

First, check if your Sound Effects are active. Then, try opening the explode_11 and see if it makes sound on the PCs media player.
If this doesn't work, and you're on Steam, go to Geometry Dash in the library, right click it and click Properties. Find the tab ''Local Files'', and click ''Verify Game Files'', or something like that.
EDIT: Did you convert the file in a file converter? That can be the issue.
WARNING: doing this will delete all your local files. Make sure to back up your files just in case. Try again, and if this doesn't work, let me know.
