For some reason, when I try to record Geometry Dash on PC, it just records the window behind it. Like, if I have GD and Chrome open, and GD is open with Chrome running in the background, GD doesn't show up on the recorder and Chrome does. Basically, this means my screen recorder records my home screen rather than GD.
I know this is a problem with GD and not my recorder or computer because:1. I tried recording a different game (I'm going to call that different game "DS") that I also got paid from Steam and it worked without error. 2. When I try turning up the volume, the bar that shows my volume ( ) doesn't show up. When I try this on DS, it does show up.Because of this, I have to record on mobile, and my quality is legit awful. ;-;
(In case this helps, I used two different screen recorders, Bandicam Free and iSpring Free Cam 8, and neither worked on GD but both worked on DS. The last time I tried was a few weeks ago, I believe. I also got GD during the Summer Sale.)

Try OBS, I've heard it's one of the best ones. If you don't want to switch though, then a possible problem could be the way the Screen Recorder is designed which may be to just record chrome or something. I'm sorry, but I just use everyplay on mobile so I'm not the most knowledgeable about computer recorders.
