I used to have a really bad laptop, in wich i could play GD normally without any fps drops, (it was really bad in other games tho), and now i got a new PC wich is rly good and when i downloaded GD and tried to play a level, it dropped to 1 fps and i couldnt do anything, i had to open task manager to be able to close the game, so my question is why does this happen on a PC that can run csgo at 300 fps but when i played on my laptop it didnt (my laptop played csgo at 40 fps).
Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHz
Ram: 8 GB
Graphics Card: GEFORCE GTX 1050 Ti
Windows10 64bit
Btw if its possible to directly post here a video recorded with my phone without having to upload it to yt, someone tell me how to do it pls it might be easier to show the problem i have like that

What's the hertz value of your monitor? Geometry Dash tends to get glitchy and slow on monitors after 144Hz

Are you playing on windowed mode or in fullscreen? Try messing a bit with the resolution, smooth fix and VSync. They sometimes help with lag spikes.

According to the OP you run CS:GO on 300 HZ, GD might probably lag because of this.
Have you tried decreasing the FPS of your monitor?
This can be done in the settings of your monitor/graphics card iirc.

Im not having lag spikes, im having constant lag at less than 1 fps like if i open a level nothing happens and i cant do anything and i can only close gd with task manager

You may have a part to strong for another part of the computer

do my usual trick, task manager, goto details, set priority, then change it to something like high or realtime. lemme know if it does any good.

Does it happen with any online level or only with the recent ones? Try playing an older level and check if there's a difference, maybe recent levels are lagging your game due to the amount of detail...? This might be possible, especially that the game is poorly optimized.

This might be possible, especially that the game is poorly optimized. ok so i tried problematic (1.9 nc demon), platinum adventure (2.0 demon) and retro circles (wich i think is 2.0), and only retro circles lagged, the thing is i cant play any 2.1 level on my pc but on my phone (samsung galaxy J3) i play 2.1 levels without lag :/

This might be because newer levels tend to use a big amount of objects. Retro Circles for example has around 40k IIRC.
