What I mean by "delay" is that the level stops for a few seconds before starting the next attempt. This makes it really annoying to practice demon levels, and I was just wondering if there was a fix.

i always use a ldm if the level provides one, just set it from a touch trigger to a normal one. if that fails just cut out the part you need and delete the rest of the level, this means you'd have to get a copy for each part however but it'd stop the lag.

If the level is object heavy then activate a LDM with what lockstep said.
Also how far into the level are you practicing? The game may be slow at activating all the previous triggers.

I'm practising like halfway into the level. I can see that happening.. if the level has lots of triggers, then try putting a toggle off trigger at the very beginning with the group being the the objects and triggers (except those that are necessary). This trigger will activate at the very beginning and maybe null everything else. You also don't have to worry about making separate copyables since you can just remove any objects or triggers from the toggle group. Let me know if this helped.

Well, RobTop said start pos lag is going to be fixed in 2.11 but we don't know when it will be released. Usually smooth fix makes the lag a little smaller but it still can be pretty big if you're playing an object heavy level.

This is a bug that will be fixed in 2.2. Question answered by many, moving to resolved.
