Hello everyone,
I'm presenting to you a level that took me 2 months to build. That's a lot. And I hope through this level you will feel the hard effort I've put in it. It's a Demon level, in which I wanted to include some innovative gameplay mechanics by exploiting the 2.1 features. About the design, it's for sure my best, but it's not the ultimate perfection either.

Name: Nerves Creator: Alex1304 Level ID: 36227266 Difficulty: Medium Demon GameplayHonestly, I think the gameplay looks pretty fun. It seems very exciting due to its speed and fast paced moments. Also, the gameplay is extremely creative and innovative. My favorite part was the cube part where you had to press the five buttons, at around 58%. On the contrary, the level seems to rely far too much on collecting things to move on. Medium Demon is probably the best difficulty rating for this. Looking at it, I might actually say Hard Demon, but I think it's easier than it looks, so Medium Demon is likely the best place to be. General Thoughts: The gameplay is fun for the most part and uses tons of creative and innovative mechanics. DecorationThis level looks, visually, very consistent and eye-catching, but not so eye-catching that it ruins the gameplay. This is the perfect combination of block design, backgrounds, and gameplay that mix into a level. You clearly know what you're doing. General Thoughts: There's not anything I have to say that goes deeper into why I like the decoration and block designs other than comparing it to other famous levels. Coin RoutesBecause of this level, I had to add a whole new section to my rating system. The coin routes are too ingenious to not be mentioned. Coin 1 - Silver. Having to miss the red orb and crash into another platform is pretty smart, but breaking the platform on impact doubles up as the platform not existing at all, making it literally just missing the red orb and straight flying.Coin 2 - Gold. Coin HP is genius. I love that. I love how you didn't make it so it was a free route for those who didn't want the coin and instead had some gameplay there. The only problem I had with this one was the differentiating fonts. There's ways to make it so they're the same font, such as toggling the number "2" on top of the counter when it hits 2, 3 when it hits 3, etc.Coin 3 - Silver. It's pretty much the same thing as the first coin, only this time, with a dash orb instead of a red orb.
Overall Rating - Silver. The second coin is pretty cool and innovative while the other two are trying to be creative, but they aren't as exciting as the second one.
MiscellaneousI like the song choice. Something not enough people consider when making a level is the song choice. I'd rather it be something I haven't heard too much, such as Nerf This, Chaoz Impact, or Silent Storm. Basically, songs that have been used in famous levels but aren't overused to the point where I want to pull my hair out. Songs that "want to make me pull my hair out" are used all the time in featured levels. For example: Volt, the song that was used in B, Machina, Xenogenesis, and the list goes on. Thank you for not being that person. I like how at the end of the level, the player can collect keys to nerf the final straight flying obstacle. Of course, this is something that's pretty fairly overused, but this level makes it more innovative. I kinda wish that you had made some of your own collectible items. To do this, make the item, preferably out of the pixels in the "Slabs" pool, and put a Pickup Trigger under the item (set it to Touch Triggered). Final ThoughtsThis level shows the near-limit of what you can do in 2.1. This level is innovative while still having fun gameplay and beautiful designs. This level just bursts with creativity and excitement, and that's what I was originally hoping 2.1 would have more of, and sadly has more Adiale-style levels than that. Score: 8/10. This is a pretty great level that is worthy of a place in the Hall of Fame, and almost no one even knows it exists. You deserve way greater of a reward for this sort of effort and innovation. Thank you so much for this feedback! Despite you're not an actual Level Judge in this forum, I find your review really constructive and helpful ^^ I really enjoy making gameplay mechanics that haven't been seen before, exploiting a maximum of 2.1 features. I still need to work on guiding the player so he knows what he should do without having trouble, also F3lixsram said I need to work on colors (he doesn't really like the dark blue at the beginning...). Well as a creator I ask for only one thing: to improve myself! So I will do better next time 8) Now let's hope I will get this level rated soon (already sent by 10 mods UwU) and let's wait for a Level Judge or Moderator of this forum to move this thread
