Pre-judging: So I assume this is a joke level, since it doesn't look very serious. Eh, screw it. It's in the (Judged) board. I'll criticize it anyway.

General
You already know what I'm going to say. The gameplay is extremely confusing with all the dang fake spikes placed literally everywhere throughout the entire level. The structures are obvious copy-paste with no variation. And...that's all.
Transitions
Lots of random auto sections, then parts where you have to react really fast are not really good things in a level. It's just confusing. However, I suppose that was the point of this level in the first place. To be confusing...?
Synchronization
The level syncs surprisingly well to the flat-out horrible song.
Difficulty of Level
I'm not even going to take an attempt at finding out what your intended difficulty was for this. In the level, it says 1* but you're clearly just pulling legs.  I'd give it a 5-star rating. It really isn't that hard, even with the fake/some real spikes.
Decoration
Air Decoration
There's very little air decoration in the level. It's done pretty well, though, for a level made in a single day (kinda).
Block Designs
The block designs are probably the best thing about this level. They're pretty alright, but they're clearly copy-pasted, not to mention the obnoxious fake spikes mixed with real ones.
Art and Backgrounds
For an auto level, the backgrounds and art might be alright but this level just takes it to an extreme extent to the point where it actually blocks some of the player's view. Also, the one at the end looks pretty choppy.
Final Thoughts
Score
8/100% - I'm trying to give this level as much credit as I can while also being polite but this is just...a blurry nightmare. I was pretty negative in this review because there's so much room for improvement here that I'm just at a loss for words. Sorry. Needs Improvement
What Can Be Improved? (I tried to elaborate as much as possible to try and add some positive points to this review.)- The gameplay should make more sense. Less fake spikes.
- The effects and designs are too choppy. Try doing it in the air, off of the ground.
- The block designs have too much copy-paste. Try adding some more originality to them.
- The title card looks copy-pasted and extremely weird in regards to color. Try making it contrast with the color of the background.
- Have less auto parts and better transitions.
- Don't end the level after the song ends. End them at the same time, or before.
- Add some jump orbs other than one dash orb. It'll give the gameplay some variation.
Optional things you could do that might help:- Stop with the Show/Hide Player trigger spam. This trend should've died earlier.
- Change the gameplay for the wave part.
- Just a suggestion: try making the level auto. It might make the backgrounds look less random.

Hello araoro! I am not a level judge at the moment but I would still like too review your level. [My Criteria Consists of Originality 33/100 Design 33/100 and Gameplay 34/100 Now lets get onto the judgement! Originality - 33/33 I dont have much too say. Except that its pretty original. I cant say much. your already starting out good.
Design - 13/33
Its just. The fake glitching makes it look more unprofessional and I feel like there is copy and paste that I cant put my finger on.
Gameplay - 5/33
Overall the gameplay is just. Its not worth it. its really stressful with alot of fake spikes that makes it like the easier but worse counterpart of Fake A Doom by LunarSimg. it has a bunch of distractions and I just dont really like them. For example at the start the words Cartoon Soviet just glitch around the screen then later in the level the blood spots. also the background on that part is distracting. also one last thing is the song is disturbing and doesnt mix with the gameplay and overall makes it a bad experience.
Minus the gameplay its an ok level. but the Overall score is 51/100 which equals too a decent level. |
