Slower speeds are quite unfun and boring to play, and its really difficult to make a gameplay that could make it fun. Even though faster speeds make gameplay a lot more difficult, it can still make the level fun to play. But this is not the same for slower speeds.
I suggest that if you want to do this, maybe just use Move triggers instead.

If we have slower speeds, wouldnt a mini cube 1 spike be impossible lmao In 0.5x a 2 spike jump is possible with the mini cube, so probably not.

You can easily create custom speeds with move triggers, and I feel that the slowest speed is slow enough. Slow speed is only really good for transitions, and entire slow/timing based level isn't fun at all.

Also if we have slower speeds, people are gonna make waves with those speeds and then people are gonna try to beat it at faster ones lmao

I could see some easy uses for them, especially through transitions. Move triggers do work but can be a little sketchy at times, just due to how they work (moving the blocks instead of just slowing the rate of the player). I would support a .25x (<<) but definitely not a .125x (<<<), that would be a bit too much I believe.

Slower speeds could be used in every game mode, but the worst imo would be cube and robot. The easiest would be ship, then UFO, then wave. Ball and spider I would call medium at slow speeds.

Acropolis maybe in the second half, but most timing levels are just frustrating. Slow speed is good when used seldom to vary the pacing of the level.

AHHH WHY CAN'T I UPLOAD IMAGESAnyone remember this photo? RobTop actually planned on having the 2x slow speed portal in 1.7, but I guess he removed it last minute. For good reason. A 0.5x slow portal would be soooo boring, and everyone would use it.
