Level name: Abstract ID: 35549987 Difficulty: Easy demon Song: Time Leaper Collab/solo: Solo Video link: everyplay.com/videos/44950182PLEASE READ: The reason why the start is auto is BEACAUSE I had my privat auto version, since it was a demon, for me it was very hard and making a semi auto version would be a lot easier to show the level to fellow dasher, unfortunately the semi auto version is my private version. The level was verified legit, it just would be a lot easier since I already verified the original version, and I don't want to do it again. (It's VERY hard for me ) The ID is the original version of the level, it is NOT the semi auto BEACAUSE the semi auto is private.

Overview: This level is decent. While some parts looks nice and looks like they took a lot of effort, the gameplay is extremely lacking and could use a lot of work. The level had many parts (such as the first ball part which had extremely bad timings which made the level unnecessarily difficult to beat, and a lot less fun to play. Gameplay17/50
The gameplay here was boring, to say the least. Don't get me wrong, there were some parts of the level (such as the last part, will talk about that later) where the gameplay was fun to play. However, most of the level consisted of bugs which required exact to-the-pixel timings which just wasn't fun at all. Honestly, I didn't enjoy going through this level in practice. In the first ball part (10-15%), you've implied through your block placement that you should drop to reach the yellow orb, but really what you have to do is go up and then down and time the orb perfectly so as not to crash into the spike (which in my opinion shouldn't even be there). The transition at 15% is awful - there was no need to make the wave invisible before entering that part. It just gives you less time to react and I've died at that point most of the time because of that transition. And you've completely messed up the slope outlines on the wave part. There were some places where you turned the outline around by 180 degrees and it doesn't line up with the rest of the outline. What that does is completely mess up the hitboxes. Now, instead of a slope hitbox, you get a square hitbox, and getting anywhere near those lines makes you crash into thin air. It's extremely aggravating and, well, cancerous. Fix them as soon as possible. Look for places where the slopes aren't aligned, and align them. The wave will be much less annoying.
There was also a bug at 25% where you had to hit the first orb perfectly at the robot or you crash before reaching the next one. The dual is fun to play but extremely buggy. There is one place where you have to jump right under the spike but you don't die until later on if you don't get it right. What I would do it put a spike where it is not safe to jump- where you'll crash into a spike if you do so. But even when you land the perfect jump, the top cube crashes into a spike and you die, and there is no way you can stop that. The ball part after the dual is good. Then you get to the last part. I also loved it. it wasn't buggy and was really a blast to play.

The design looks good in most places. At the start, I noticed you placed a lot of background deco, which is great - it gives your level a bit more atmosphere and makes it less bland. However, with the way you've built your tileset and the colors you've used, the BG deco blends in with your block design. This significantly lowers visibility and makes it more difficult to see what's going on. And what this means is that the part is a lot more difficult than it should be. If you made the BG deco a bit darker by lowering the brightness or using a new, darker color altogether, it will fix that issue easily and make it a lot easier to see the level. The dual part was also good, the pink and the blue in your block design went well together. However, the greyness of some of the blocks you used in the ball part just clashes with all of it. It doesn't go at all with the blue and the pink of the rest of the block design. Plus, the transition between that and the last part (the wave) was just so lazy and bland. Two platforms, one above and below, 5 blocks long with pink glow blocks connecting them to the ground. And even after that there's just black for a couple blocks. You could have put a bit more gameplay into that and made it a bit more fun, spice it up a little.
And then, we get to the last part. Forget about the gameplay, your decoration for the wave onwards is soooooooo disappointing. A couple black blocks, couple of coloured square blocks (think Stereo Madness but pink) and a lot of Gears. For the background? Cutoff on the richt side where the glow is, and a lot of pulsating circles. While I have no idea how much effort you put into that part, it seems like you rushed it a lot. Plus, after the final ship, there's absolutely nothing for at least 5 whole seconds. If that's what you want to do to end a level, don't expect to get brownie points for gameplay. It just shows that you put fuck all into making it, which you've already shown through the whole of the last 40% or so of the level. Put in a cube part, we haven't seen much of that gamemode. Or what about another wave? Provide a bit of variety. To be honest, that should go into the Gameplay section but variety applies here as well. In this level you've only showcase d three different designs. Try to go for a bit more variety, show us some concept we haven't seen before. There was nothing that really standed out with this level. Overall Score
43/100 [Decent Levels]
Your level at best is Rate Worthy. The gameplay was disappointing, and the last 40% or so was completely rushed in terms of design. It doesn't seem that you put a lot of effort into making the last part. Don't be disheartened however. Go out and look at other featured levels, and use "test levels" to try to re-enact their designs. If you feel that a certain style is working for you, use the test level you made as a reference if you want to use that style in a new level. It works really well and will help you improve greatly. Take on board what I've said and try to fix a few stuff. Let me know and I'll follow through with a re-review for you. Thank you for reading my review.
