GAMEPLAY - 3/10 -Nothing special, completely generic. -No speed changes -Cycle/shopping list of gamemodes changes -Not annoying -Gives player time to react to transitions -Whats with some of the parts having large amounts of move triggers and others with none? -Cool wave at the end
Decoration - 5/10 -Weird theme change throughout the level... goes from realistic floating islands to spacey designs -Super B transitions -Beautiful backgrounds -Static backgrounds without any motion whatsoever... -Bland block design -Good use of particles and effects -No pulses. Feels like a dead level. (Not lively) -Cool portal at 0:55, but again, nothing to do with the theme of the level which I can't seem to tell.
Sync - 1/5 -Transitions have a good sync -No speed movements again makes the sync incredibly lacking, even if the levels supposed to be easy. -Spider doesn't feel like it even syncs with the music at all. -Wave sync is pretty good -Parts like the robot could've easily been made better but still maintain the easy difficulty. -No pulses also effect sync HUGELY.
Effort - 2/5 -Could've put more work into making the backgrounds more lively -Gameplay isn't too fun. Next time, stop and think to yourself. "Is this really what players would like?" -As far as foreground go, the decoration is bland. We can tell if you really put effort into it if you are able to make stunning background like that. -Background is very good. Can say you did put most of your effort into this.
Originality - 1/5 -Background is nothing original even if it's stunning -Gameplay wise, the bubbles at the end are the most original thing in this level. -Still, gameplay is very generic. Like alot of levels.
Total - 13/35
0-12 = needs improvement 13-19 = decent 20-29 = good 30-35 = feature worthy
The thing is, many people look at level creation and think. Ill just make good decoration! No. Gameplay is a very important aspect. Think of a restaurant. You would want to make it look nice and welcoming yes, that attracts the customers into the restaurant. But you want good food (gameplay) and service (sync). Because thats what keeps you coming back (fun). Good luck in the future.
