Are you tired of recording Geometry Dash with your phone like goodsmile? (No offence dude) If yes, this guide is for YOU! Based on my 1 month experience with a super shitty laptop, after 2 hours messing with obs, I think I found preety good settings for bad pc. (Note that im not sure it will work with pc with intel Atom or Pentium, but give it a try!) Yes, these settings are for OBS, the best recorder I found (my opinion), and you'll only need to modify a few things and you'll be ready to go! 1)Go to display settings and set your resolution to: 1280x720 (not necessary, but it improves quality and performance while playing) 2)Open OBS, then click on File and Settings. 3)Go to Video, and set Base Resolution to 1280x720, then set Output Resolution to 960x540, and then Downscale Filter needs to be set to bilinear, then put fps at 30 (or lower) 4)Go then to Output, and set Encoder to x264, Rate control to CBR and Bitrate to 50.000 (50k) and last, CPU Usage Preset to ultrafast. Be sure to leave all the other settings as default, you only need to change this things to be ready to record. It should be okay, I play gd with v-sync on, smooth fix on, windowed mode 1280x720 and medium graphics, and I have videos with decent quality, and no lags in game That's pretty much it! Have fun recording and uploading your gd videos (If your pc still lags, consider lowering the fps or increaseing the bitrate)

useful guide remember the best thing you can do for bad computers is to turn on ultrafast, this really helped my laptop perform better when recording

If I ever get a new pc, I'll be sure to reference this (like my parents would get me a good one). Nice guide!

Isn't Fraps a more viable choice for recording? [that's what I use...] I only use OBS when I stream in Facebook lmao
