Hello.
For around 3 months, I've been having a very weird glitch happening with my account on Geometry Dash.
Without any warning or anything happening, for some reason, attempting an action associated with my Geometry Dash account does not work at all.
These functions that don't work are:
- Loading my own profile(which includes accessing the ability to post, accessing my friend list, friend requests, messages, etc.)
- Attempting to load the chests in the "Rewards" button results in the chests not even displaying time and not doing anything upon getting clicked.
- The "Quests" button shows very weird behavior: Quests DO seem to function and I they show up, when you complete them, although they DO NOT seem to function when you open the button itself, Geometry Dash fails to load up new quests and it seems like I am unable to get rewards from the quests I've completed.
- None of the tabs in "Leaderboards" work.
- I am unable to post any kind of comments.
- I am unable to save.
- I am unable to Refresh Login, even if I changed the password before successfully and am using the correct password several times.
The following actions MIGHT NOT work, but they were NOT confirmed, because I did not try them or they are too risky for me:
- I might not be able to upload levels online, that I create.
- I might not be able to login into "Hellession" at all.
For some odd reason, the following functions DO seem to work:
- I am able to load my Online levels, by going to "Create" and clicking the Server icon on bottom left.
Finally, the fact that makes me think this is a client-side problem is that, since I have Geometry Dash on phone(and a seperate account for GD on phone), I am able to search up myself through "Search" and find out that I did not disappear and I can actually look at my profile. None of my past posts seem to have been deleted, although the amount of stars and demons that have been completed that appears there is incorrect and is old.
I've been looking on these forums for someone, who has a similar problem, but the closest I've found is someone just not being able to load their rank and stuff.
Many may think that I am "temporarily banned" and would suggest to contact RobTop. I've emailed RobTop weeks ago and up to this moment, I still haven't received a response(even in Spam).
Also, it is quite obvious that the issue might be related to my PC more than the servers, meaning that I would want to re-install Geometry Dash. The big problem with this is that I don't want to lose progress I've done over these months, since it is actually really valuable to me. However, if there is no other possible solution to this, other than re-installing the game... then I'll do it with a really lowered addiction to this game. Ever since I made a big step, I've been avoiding to do anything on Geometry Dash, to not do anything I'd have to get reset in the future.
