Soooo much lags... I can't even play it anymore... What should I try to do?

You're a PC player right? If you're mac than idk m'en sorry.
Well put the game on the absolute lowest graphics settings (not resolution, just graphics).
Right click on your taskbar > task manager > Details > scroll to GD > right click GD > Set Priority > High
that should work.

I use a program called "DxWnd" that improves the performance a little bit and also greatly reduces input lag

Free some space on your PC. If your Computer has a lot of unnecessary programs or software you don't use, uninstall them. That way you free some memory on your computer, usually optimizing it.

some things you could try: - inspecting your computer if it has any viruses or bloatware - shutting down unnecessary processes - uninstalling unnecessary applications - lowering the graphical settings - getting a more powerful computer
if your computer is low spec there really isn't much you could do as GD is pretty badly optimised in general and some of the levels in it are just too heavily decorated for a non high spec computer to run properly
