Hey guys! Today, I finally finished my new level, Goodbye! It's an art level which I started 3 months ago, originally supposed to be one minute long, and very simple, just to showcase the sunset background you see in the beginning. It was originally planned to take a week, but because the update, Viprin's CC, and many other factors, it has changed a lot! There are not many Easy levels out there, and almost no highly detailed ones, so I plan to change that with this level! This is my best level so far, and I'm super proud of it! Since I started the level, I've wanted to have it judged, and today, I finally have that opportunity! The level is very laggy, luckily, I recorded it on my TV connected to my gaming computer, so the recording is very nice, sorry if you can't play it because of the lag. Nice level!
Gameplay:
It is a little repetitive and slow but that is expected from a 2* effect level. You made use of 2.1 features well like red orbs and black pads. The gameplay isn't buggy, has smooth transitions and fair coin placements. You didn't overuse 2.1 features such as red orbs or shake triggers which is also a positive.
Total: 3.5/4
Design:
Very good. You have used a good variety of blocks and design techniques to make good effects. You made great use of rotate triggers and custom backgrounds. You also did not make each backgound repetitive like having the same background each time. One thing to improve is block design as it was very dull with no variation from the gray block.
Total: 4/4
Sync:
The level flowed well and was synced with the gameplay. The song was easy to sync with as it was pretty repetitive but the parts like the spider were very well synced from the switches to the orbs.
Total: 2/2
Overall:
A very good level with good gameplay, great design and stunning, modern 2.1 effects that all synced well with the song. Carry one with this style and constantly try and improve your block design and attempt to make more challenging levels with a variety of gameplay to improve your skills even further.
Total: 9/10 - Feature Worthy

Total: 9/10 - Feature WorthyThanks for the review!  The main challenge with the level was trying to get good gameplay in with such a slow song, so I went for better sync over constant gameplay. I'll keep trying to improve my block design, that's my biggest struggle as a creator right now. Another level is in the works right now, and I plan to improve everything I didn't do so well with this level. Hopefully I get it done faster than this level, too.  |
