Eng: Hello everyone on the forum. I would like to know the answer to the question about the functions of Mega Hack v7. I saw some youtubers have items in their Level Stats that are not in regular Geometry Dash. For example, displaying all the records on the level. I think this is a Mega Hack function, please tell me what this function is? Or if this is not a Mega Hack function, tell me how to make these additional points in Level Stats.

Или же если это не функция Mega Hack подскажите как тогда сделать эти дополнительные пункты в Level Stats. i think what you're referring to is a megahack extension called betterinfo you can download it here geometrydash.eu/mods/ (put the dll file into the extensions folder in your gd install folder) |

My game has been not working and working almost randomly for the past few months and I have no idea how to fix it. When this happens either my game just doesn't open or loads but runs extremely poorly, E.g. music lagging, high object levels will crash my PC.The first time i managed to fix it by reverting the compatibility settings for the game, changing them and then changing them back however now the only way geometry dash will even open is by changing the compatibility setting to Windows 95 and else it simply doesn't open. Like stated earlier, this makes the game pretty much unplayable and I am very unsure how to deal with it or how to deal with it if it may happen again. I am playing on the full steam version of geometry dash on a windows 11 computer. The only addons i have included are MegaHack and texture packs however even after getting rid of those and doing a clean reinstall it still didn't work

Hello, I just want to ask how long should a rate worthy level be? I am making my best level, but its maximum length is 1 minute 10.

By mistake, I deleted a level from my create library and it’s online and it won’t let me remove it from it being pub

Those are called posting ranks; they change based on how many posts you have, although if you reach 500 or more posts you can request a custom title (within forum rules) from me or another staff member instead. Hello, I bought Geometry Dash on my Steam account, but my 13 year old is the one who plays the most. He recently asked me if he could make an account in the game so that he could create and publish custom levels. So, I'm here and curious if anyone on this forum can tell me how good/bad account security is with this game? I've looked around a bit so far I don't get a good feeling about the product's security, some reasons for that include: 1 - www.robtopgames.com has apparently been "under construction" for a very long time and there's no information or support on that site, no forums directly on the site, no apparent support, etc. It's very bare bones and seems unprofessional in general. 2 - when pressing the help button in the game, it opens a link to www.boomlings.com/database/accounts/accountManagement.php and not only is that NOT Geometry Dash but that site looks very "forgotten" and unmaintained. If you try to go to the root site, it just says "Nothing to see here... Boomlings." 3 - This forum, which seems to be official, appears to be on freeforums.net, but when I went to make this account to ask my question(s), I was directed to a third party site (proboards.com) to make the account. That's shady from a security perspective because a third party is in control of the account information. I have other misgivings but those three items alone are enough to make me question the security of my kid's information if I were to let him create an account for the game. Any input on this topic would be welcome, whether good or bad. I don't want him signing up for something and getting on any SPAM lists due to a third party with access to his email having poor business practices. Thanks for your time, H.G. |

So I haven't really played this game seriously in like 6 years, so my info might be a bit dated, but I honestly doubt much has changed. In short, I'd say the game is safe to play, but I'd refrain from using a primary email to setup your account. I can explain further below, but this is from my experiences as a player, not an expert. Account security in this game has never been good. It's always been rudimentary to the extent that passwords have been found to be stored in plaintext back in the day and likely to this day iirc. Hacks and account breaches have occurred numerous times in the game, including to my account somewhat recently, so I'd advise against linking important emails or reusing passwords for the in-game account. I want to say these security issues are mainly related to petty account-jacking and not to the level of spreading malware and such to my knowledge. This isn't very frequent especially, if you're not some big-name in the game community, but it does happen. Many of the security issues in game can likely be attributed to there being one sole developer for the entire game (I believe he has refused to expand beyond that in the past, dont know if this has changed), and him seemingly losing passion to work on the game over the years leaving much of its infrastructure outdated or underdeveloped. It's an older website made for the game developer's old, now defunct work Boomlings, which has been repurposed for Geometry Dash. It is indeed very dated and undermaintained. While I am not qualified to talk about specifics of site security, I can say the website is not malicious but likely will be plagued by the same data security issues I mentioned about the game earlier. The website works for managing the game account info and thats about it. I don't think I've been put on any email spam lists as a result of creating my account there, but better safe than sorry. 3 - This forum, which seems to be official, appears to be on freeforums.net, but when I went to make this account to ask my question(s), I was directed to a third party site (proboards.com) to make the account. That's shady from a security perspective because a third party is in control of the account information. This is a fan forum and was created by a teenager using a free hosting site and not officially associated with the game or the developer. The game dev has been somewhat active here in the past, but it's been many years since those days and he likely no longer visits here. As for the forum hosting site itself, I've never experienced any data privacy issues myself with it. Have gotten annoying emails from the site, but nothing too egregious. For the site's age it appears from my perspective to be decently maintained. Hope this helps, anyone with more up to date info, please feel free to jump in. |

www.boomlings.com is the most geometry dash site, all requests (commenting on level, uploading level, searching levels, viewing profile, downloading level…) are to www.boomlings.com except saving and loading save data (these are to www.robtopgames.net) |
