Guys, I have always wanted to create a level, but always have failed miserably.
I can't make any kind of gameplay (except probably ball), anything else I make is either repetitive or just shit. I can't make wave gameplay because I don't even know how to make those things the wave moves in between (slopes). Like I can't put them together.
As for deco, I will never be able to make that.
I really wanna create levels though, please suggest me some good ways to get started, some tutorials, anything! I really wanna be a good creator someday.
I can't make anything, literally. Help me get started and tell me how to improve.

Time and effort my friend.
After lots of time and effort, you'll get it.

MaJackO started as a noob creator and he started to experience complex designs improving and creating his own style.
So in few words you should try and try to pull off your own style and being creative with your gameplay.
It takes a lot of effort but with enough patience you can become a great creator.

The new editor guide is SO helpful. Read everything in it. Do everything in it. Then keep practicing.

If you can't be a good creator then why don't you just be lazy and make levels in the style of the really, really old RubRub levels with the old official songs like Base After Base and stuff

Help me get started and tell me how to improve. I'll help. First you make a very simple gameplay which only you know. Try to add things by looking at simple levels from 1.1 or 1.2 for inspiration! Then, put pillars to make it like a 1.2 level. Next keep on updating it with more and more things to make it look awesome!

DerekBAWS Like most dashers in this thread said, time & effort. Play other levels, watch gameplays, take inspirations from it.

It'd be a good idea to show us some of your work so we can tell you what is good and what is bad about your creating.

I say this everytime but, the best way to improve at making levels is to keep doing it. Once you've learned the editor, there's not much more that can help you besides yourself, the more you build the more experienced you'll be and the better you'll get. Sometimes it helps to take advice from good creators, or to look at levels you like and to get inspiration from them. But mostly, you best bet is to just build build build

Just keep experimenting then getting feedback from people or posting it in the Judging Panel for ways to improve the next (although good luck getting it judged within the next 2 years with 300 other levels before yours xd). My first level was literally garbage, but after a few years of feedback I've gotten slightly better. Keyword: slightly.

this is what i could build 11 months ago:
This is what i can build now:
As you can see, i have improved over the last year, and all i have to say is just keep creating levels. Eventually, you will get used to it and eventually you will just become better at building. Watch turorials on youtube, read the editor guide in-game, and just not be afriad to receive criticism from people, just as long as it is constructive. Keep trying and never be discouraged by others!
