this thread is a joke don't take me seriously
Hello everyone it's RuffPat here today with another Game Theory. Everyone here should play Geometry Dash. But did you know that it has a secret hidden backstory? Listen on and find out...
Once upon a time, a lonely traveller called Robtop decided to build a base with some spare objects he found on the floor. After it was finished, he decided to name it Stereo Madness, and moved on. Many other travellers, always in groups or parties, tried to get through Stereo Madness. But alas, all failed, and travellers were lost.
Until some bright spark had the idea of painting the travellers and inventing vehicles for them to traverse the environments in. A square-shaped vehicle that could jump higher than any other human was created, along with a rocket ship to fly through dangerous passages were created for the slowly-growing parties. No matter how many warriors were lost to Stereo Madness, it seemed that another would be created in its place.
Soon after the travellers defeated Stereo Madness and looted it for a new design for their cube contraption (which some favoured immediately), they found blocks around the environment. Some parties even tried to build fortresses, and reputation was passed by word-of-mouth between parties, with some fortresses being considered "insane" and some "easy". But this was not the end. Travelling further, the tribes discovered that Robtop had constructed more fortresses, with contraptions that turned the world upside-down or reversed their direction. Their rewards were greater and greater, but the body count on each fortress was mounting.
This all changed when Robtop finished a fortress by the name of "Cycles". About a third of their journey through the terrifying traps and hazards, the tribes found a blueprint for a rolling ball that could allegedly harness the powers of gravity. And so be it, it was created, and they passed through more levels that got more intricate and difficult. A UFO was created, and so were wormholes that shrunk the warriors down to a smaller size. Alas, many warriors were stumped by "Clutterfunk", which was teeming with traps.
The next day, the travellers found a glowing red fortress with another fortress next to it. Walking up to the door, they were denied access, apparently requiring "20 golden coins" to access and loot Robtop's stronghold. Moving to the next stronghold, titled "Electroman Adventures", they discovered golden coins were placed in the level, with three of each. After beating Electroman Adventures, their loot also included a map to foreign lands. Seemingly, there were fortresses from infamous tribes placed together in groups of three, all guarded by a dragon. When all three fortresses were toppled, the dragon would give the tribe a golden coin or two and some loot. After collecting 20, the travellers smashed down the door to the red fortress and were floored by just how difficult in proportion this level was. Urban myths gave the level a name of "Clubstep", which was considered to be "only for demons" and thus garnered the nickname "Demon difficulty". The few who passed this level were rewarded with a jet black colour, perfect as camouflage, and received loot for beating a "demon". It seemed that Robtop had realised how hard Clubstep was and was a couple of steps in front of the tribes?
More fortresses were discovered, with devious traps including splitters that cloned the warrior attempting to brave the threshold, but controlled by the same singular mind, and slingshots that shot the warriors forward at incredible speed, or slowed them down. A "wave" was built to brave sloped and spiked passages, and another demon fortress, requiring 30 shiny coins, was found. Customised fortresses were popular as ever, with many tribes garnering reputation from the rest of the warriors, like the "Viprin" tribe and the "ZenthicAlpha" tribe. Some tribes forged pacts and combined efforts to create their own challenges.
Later on, a lonely tribe member was walking alone when he discovered a coin at the end of the world. "Hmm." He thought to himself. "Why don't I place this in my fortress?" he exclaimed. However, when he placed it in his fortress, it lost its silver sheen and turned to a dull bronze. "Rubbish!" he moaned. But as soon as Robtop passed his fort, the coin turned silver. "How cool and good must this be" , he exclaimed. The tribe member was part of the Viprin tribe, and their tribe grew to take coins very very seriously.
Another blueprint was discovered, creating a robot. Strange green orbs and teleporters were found. But most exciting of all was the fact that some tribes had worked out how to make moving obstacles, and invisible obstacles. "2.0 is revolution!", the Viprin tribe cried. Fortresses grew more and more difficult, and some tribes' fortresses were disliked, like the Ferris02 tribe. A small group of tribes, headed by the legendary Darnoc, clubbed together and built a forum. A vault underground was discovered, but most tribes looted all its items and didn't give it any afterthought. There was some controversy that tribes with 144 members were better at controlling ships then tribes with 60 members, which still lasts to this day.
It took ages until the next blueprint was found, but it was worth it: they harnessed the power of teleportation to make a spider machine. Dash orbs shot warriors forward in a ball of flame. Tribes grew different genes and died in different ways - some in a ball of flame, some in a plasma blast. Diamonds were mined from quests found in a box. Every tribe carried two chests that would open at random intervals. Witches were born, who could harness "Shards of Power" to create new designs for the unique tribe.
However, there was a darker side. Another secret vault was discovered, with its own stronghold - and a dark secret. A prisoner was kept in a cage underneath, lured by the promise of poultry. Some tribes joined it and freed it, whilst some were not capable. Keys were scattered throughout the world, which were used to unlock a large stack of chests in "the treasure room". Legends spoke of a mysterious apparition known as "Scratch", who peddled his wares to tribes across the globe.
Robtop still hasn't left any further clues to his whereabouts.
but hey that's just a theory a game theory thanks for reading this shitpost and subscrib efor more coff ee
