So I came up with this a while back, but didn't fully release it to the community. My suggestion is for a new scoring system. The old one is fine, I just prefer this one because I think it is more accurate. I'll explain - but first I'll write out the equation:
(M * O * B) / 10 * (S) = Final Score where M = Music Sync Score O = Originality Score B = Background Score S = Score of Level without multipliers
This provides a more accurate representation of the level by using 3 multipliers for the entire level - M, O, and B. S is like the level by itself, just design and gameplay. To see it in context, go check out one of my reviews. But this turns out to be a very harsh grading system. If they were to get 8 / 10's on every category the final score would be a 40.96 / 100. Pretty harsh. Which is why I came up with a new scoring system as well. Needs Improvement = 0 - 30 Decent = 30 - 60 Good = 60 - 80 Feature Worthy = 80 - 90 Legendary = 90 - 100
I know the legendary rating doesn't exist anymore, it is a huge sign that your level is amazing. There are only 2 scores available to get a legendary score. But it is a fairly good rating system.
Technical Stuff: 1. Only up/down by .5 2. M, O, and B apply to the entire level, not a section 3. Like I said, this is harsher than the other system, so rate less harshly (I guess?)
Tell me what you think!

Really, in the end, only you can make your level rating system.

Bring it up to the level judge heads, they'll decide if they want to do that or not

Imo, each people was their different way of judging levels.
This is the reason why we chose different level judges, because they each have their own way of judging levels.
If there was only one system to follow, then we could have just hired only one judge instead.

It's ok, but everyone judges level differently, like p1ka said.

Last time someone suggested a formal judging score/system, it wasn't well received. You can try though ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ

Set judging standards would be easier, but unfortunately people have their own writing styles and ways of viewing levels. Some put more weight on sync (like me) whereas others think completely differently. I consider it an advantage, because people can argue a rating and have a judge with a different scoring system look over the same level.
