Hello! Flash here, with my first news cast :)
So, as the very popular creator Viprin has hit 100,000 subscribers on youtube, him and another well-known creator, Etzer, have collaborated with RobTop himself, to bring us the Icon Creation Contest!
What makes this Contest Special, is that the top ten icons submitted, as decided by a vote, will be implemented into Geometry Dash in update 2.2!
This is a great thing, it's the first time players have directly helped shape Geometry Dash as a game. I hope Robtop will host more events like this as feedback from the Contest Video has been extremely positive.

Luckily, Etzer has also published a tutorial that gives you everything you need to know to make a quality icon using photoshop! Another great aspect of this contest is that you don't need any expensive software. you can make your icon using Photoshop, Paint, or even draw it by hand on a piece of paper.
You don't need to be an expert GFX creator either, as most geometry dash icons are very simple, and if your idea is good, then you might be accepted!
