This level is a part of the level judging test. Judges, do not move this from the judging panel!

On behalf of all level judges I would like to thank you for your patience
Gameplay First and foremost I would like to mention that the gameplay in the first half of the level was quite bland and tasteless, not really keeping the player engaged with the level until you reach the ship, at which point things get slightly more interesting. This interest quickly accelerates into quite fun and nerve racking gameplay as you get into the drop, which has a well fixed speed that syncs with the song and sections that require some practice to get through (curse whoever made the dual part). The fun gameplay continues into a non-cancerous wave part which also synchronized very well with the song. The only problem I have with the gameplay as a whole would be the darkness throughout the level, as it gets quite hard to see obstacles, especially at the drop where a large majority of the screen is covered. This causes a slight difficulty fluctuation, thus creating a schism in the level. As far as bugs are concerned I really have nothing else to say besides some odd gravity portal placement in the drop ship part, which can easily be fixed with some invisible platforms. Gameplay score 6/10 -3 for lack of engaging gameplay in the level’s first half -1 for gravity portal bug
Decoration The decoration throughout the level was quite constant, not constant as in sticking to theme, but as in there was little to no variation in the level’s design. The backgrounds, alth9ugh having some moving objects, we’re left to just that, a quite static bg where the only thing taking up space is a slanted strip or two. This persists throughout the level’s entirety. The block design doesn’t offer much more, as the majority of it is the same scheme, same detail. Most of it appearing copy and pasted. The other parts, such as the ship and wave parts don’t even have a slight design scheme, just static blocks that only have their outlines to show that they even exist. In the future I suggest using block design techniques and custom backgrounds to fill in space and really make your level pop. Decoration score 5/10 -3 for repeated block design -4 for empty backgrounds
Concept Although a lot of the level is fairly basic the concept behind your level wasn’t, people don’t necessarily go for a dark blue theme all that often, and you managed to pull it off in such a way that allowed for your level to easily become a feature worthy one with some modifications. This allowed for your level to have a higher concept score, as it truly was a price that was original to you. Concept score 6/10 +1 to base 5/10 for a unique thematic scheme
Final score ((G+D+C)10)/3=R R/10=final score Final score= 5.667/10 NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
