Name and Creator: The Farewell by JonathanGD (Solo level) Requested difficulty: 10 stars Personal difficulty: 6-7 stars
Rather than using my traditional system, I decided to rate the design of each part individually and the gameplay seperate. This makes it more fair IMO.
Gameplay: The ganeplay in this level is pretty fun, very well synced, and overall enjoyable. I'm not sure where the demon rating came from because the gameplay is easy and anticipatable. I was able to get 72% in only a few attempts. 6-7 stars is fair enough because of its length. The speed is slow which helps suit the atmosphere of the song which is also slower. There are no spammy sections, tough timings or fast parts which are honestly big plusses. However the transition into the last ship looks tricky and the part itself seems unbalanced difficulty wise. The gameplay overall is pretty solid though.
1st cube: This part is empty. No Background. Really basic block design. Really basic air deco. However I will complement the spike design for being good. This part is short and since it is 2.0, and more objects needed to be conserved, so I won't discredit you that much.
Ice section: I like the background here. It is simple yet sweet. There is decent detail in the background which shows effort. The snow and clouds also make this part feel full. The ground-esque blocks have those brown dirt things, which look a bit out of place, but are better there than not. Maybe it's a coloring issue? I'm not exactly sure. As for the ice blocks, the design itself is nothing special. It really isn't very unique and I have definitely seen it before. Despite that I love the gradient in the ice. That makes these blocks stand out from blocks in other ice levels. The colors also work really well in this part.
Desert part: The background here is really nice. It is fuller than the mountain background from the previous part but covers a smaller area. I also really like the dust effect. It gives so much more atmosphere to this part. However, the blocks are not as good. The coloring is off and it should have been a bit brighter of an orange. It just doesn't work with the color scheme of thr background. The design itself doesn't look the best either with the invisible blocks. I am also not very fond of how the blocks move when they are touched. It is yet again out of place, especially during the transition. The roof moving is just flat out bad. The saw design also is not very good. They would look much better without the dark circle surrounding them and would fit much better with the colors and the background. Some work needs to be done if you are going for a desert design in the future (which is a bit of a moot point now but you know what I mean).
Space part: This part was executed very well. The block design, background and colors all flow very well together. I love how the stars come in. It looks really good. However it is very empty before this. I'm not exactly sure what else you could put there. It isn't the biggest issue though. I really see no other problem areas in this part
Ball section: This part is pretty differemt from everything else so far. It doesn't really have a theme. It works semi-decently. The colors are good and the air deco is full but this part just doesn't feel right. The ground doesn't really fit and the block design and glow don't mix with some stronger colors (such as blue and orange). However, colors like yellow and green worked really well. Part of that is probably the color flashes in the deco on the underside of the blocks (not sure if there is one word for that). Just try to make it flow better next time.
Castle part: I don't really like how the floor feels like a castle and the roof feels like a cave if anything. The blocks at the top are seemingly random and have no apparent theme. I'm confused as to why they were designed that way. Everything else, being the ground, lava, torches etc. fits really well and feels like a castle. The only real thing I can say here is try to be smarter with block design choices.
Lava part: I really like the effort you put into the lava molten rock sphere things. The detail there is incredible. The blocos in the wave part are ok but the colors could use improvement. They just simply don't blend well. The blending of colors is another issue I've been seeing so far in this level. As for the backgrounds, while I see what you were trying to do with the abstract structures, the regular pillars work much better. I would have used those throughout the entire part. This however is only a minor critique as it doesn't affect the level greatly.
Cube segment: Refer to 1st cube as these parts are practically identical
2017 part: The background here is just incredible. There is so much detail it is overwhelming. You went as far as including a horizon with mountains. Outstanding job. As for the blocks, I have the same issue with the dirt specks but they are better there than not. Maybe the color should be changed a bit. You also did a great job at making the level feel full by adding clouds. Not much else to say here other than good job.
Sky part: The background and air deco sort of combine here but the clouds in the bg feel very real and make the level feel full. The block design is really good here, both contracting and static. The detail and uniqueness make this stand out. The only complaint is that it seems a bit out of place when the clouds in the foreground and the blocks overlap. Great job though.
Underwater part: This theme has a bit poorer of execution than the other themes. The block design is very fitting and the colors work well with the solid background, though the blue in the blocks stands out a bit much. However, it feels empty. The bubbles are there to fill the air but come too late and too slow. I feel that if they rushed up at the begininng of the part but continued to move the part would feel less empty and overall better.
2.0 part: I call this the 2.0 part because it looks like your average 2.0 level. While I haven't seen it exactly done this way I've seen similar. Despite it not being very unique, the part is well executed. The ground helps the level feel more full. Each block moves differently which gives it a nice atmosphere which fits well with the song. The block design is also pretty good in this part.
Billboard part: Yet again, the background is very great. I especially admire how much detail went into the billboards, specifically Michigun's icon. The block design manages to stay unique with each block having a different design. I really like this part and can find no real criticisms of it.
Rainbow part: I like how much detail is in this part. However it is too bright and due to the tightness of the chamber people are bound to die there, which wont be fun. It looks great and is very full, just maybe make it a bit less bright.
Originality: Do I even need to say anything. Your levels stun me with how original they manage to be. Every part is unique and the combination does for one imcredible level. Originality might be your diggest strong point.
Scoring:
Gameplay: 19/20 Originality: 10/10 1st cube: 2/2.5 Ice section: 5.5/6 Desert section: 2.5/5 Space section: 4.5/5 Ball part: 3.5/5 Castle section: 4.5/6 Lava section: 4.5/5 2nd cube: 2/2.5 2017 section: 6.5/7 Sky section: 5.5/6 Underwater section: 4/5 2.0 section: 4.5/5 Billboard section: 7/7 Rainbow section: 2.5/3
Overall Score: 87/100
This level is 100% feature worthy. Little issues in each section brought your score down but most are easy fixes. You are a great creator and it really does show.
Strong points:
Originality Backgrounds Air decoratiom/fullness
Weaker points:
Color choices Block design choices Flowingnes

Hello JonathanGD ! I am not a level judge at the moment but I would still like too review your level. [My Criteria Consists of Originality 33/100 Design 33/100 and Gameplay 34/100] Now lets get onto the judgement! Originality 33/33 I am really getting bored of saying its super original.
Design 33/33 Yes another full one. but I have alot too say:) I love how you have a mix of different aspects and they are put in a good order so it goes more smoothly. the colors of the background and ground go beautifully with the objects and they just mix well. I am just stunned.
Gameplay 34/34 My opinions on this level is pretty much the same as Å“ 's opinions. the gameplay is amazing I was alittle more laidback on this review but thats because I am better at critizing levels then being nice too them. My rating 6* Overall Score: 100/100 or Feature Worthy

I think my review had a good amount of detail. Use that as a guideline. Just note that my review for this level is much longer than most reviews. Just take that into consideration.

Review Approved! Nice, detailed review. Honestly, I think a couple parts seem a bit more good-ish to me, but most are really good! And this is of course taking 2.0 into consideration. While I agree with the fact that it is Feature Worthy, it is far from perfect, there are still many issues with the level, as DaRealEvan listed. Also, try to add more detail next time, even if it is really good doesn't mean it should get a less-detailed review. Also, this is definitely not demon, I agree with DaRealEvan, it's more 7 stars because of its length. Moving to Feature Worthy.
