Okay, first of all, the "dragons" in Skyrim, are actually Wyverns, although it is VERY easy to confuse them both, since they're so similar. I'll explain.
A wyvern is a quadroped, meaning it has four limbs, excluding it's head. Also it is said to have a barbed tail.
A Dragon is hexopedal, meaning it has six limbs. (Fun Fact: There is nothing alive that is hexopedal )
Dragon:
Notice how it has six limbs? The legs and the wings? Yep. No creature on earth has six limbs. (For those who say insects, they have eight most the time. Don't forget the wings!)
Wyvern : Notice how it has two legs, and two wings? Also, take note how it doesn't have front legs, that's the main difference between Wyverns and Dragons.
Onto the next thing.
So, hopefully you've seen the Jurassic Park franchise. But it made a LOT of mistakes, imma improve that ignorance, for those who missed out on those obvious facts.
The Spinosaurus in Jurassic Park 3, is actually a monsterous giant compared to the Spinosaurus of recent years.
Jurassic Park Spinosaurus: Notice how top heavy this thing is? Yeah... Scientists decided that just because it's awesome, that it doesn't mean that it defies physics...
New Spinosaurus: It looks like a crocodile. Also, I wouldn't blame you for not knowing that this is a more correct version of Spinosaurus, since it's still relatively new. Although, since we haven't found many fossils of Spinosaurus, this SITLL might be incorrect. We'll only know if we find more fossils.
This is more famous, and I'm not gonna include images, but the Jurassic Park velociraptors are horribly wrong. A Velociraptor was about the size of a turkey, and was absolutely covered in feathers (like most dinosaurs are thought to be nowadays) you may think that a Jurassic Park Velociraptor is more like a Deinonychus, but no, they're too small. They're actually closer to Utahraptors, a large genus of dromaeosaurs that were about as tall as a man.
One more, remember those frilled dinosaurs that spat venom in Jurassic Park 1? Well, those are called Dilophosaurus (Die-lof-oh-sore-us) and they're really undersized. Also, it was a completely random thing for them to spit venom. Scientists never thought they did that.
Real Size:
The Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park were about half the size of a man.
So, they almost switched the roles of Velociraptor and Dilophosaurus, making Velociraptor the size of a man, and Dilophosaurus shorter than a man.
If there are any more, put them below!
