I'm eager to hear your feedback on the level, especially since this is the first major undertaking I've done.

EDIT: Video is now live.
Background:
Time to make: Apx. 2 days with around six hours per day
Principle: Remake of the level "The Lightning Road." Redecorated and buffed while minimally redecorating to remain reminiscent of the old level without ripping it off or being too much of an eyesore.
Elaboration: I wanted to keep the original level in mind throughout the process while touching up the look and feel of the level and also buffing it. I kept the general template of the forms in mind but changed them up or added a few in some areas that desperately needed a bit more difficulty. I tried to buff or add a bit more of a challenge to any other sections. The original level was also rather famous, as far as I know, for its employment of the background flashes and confusing gameplay. I attempted to keep and amplify this by keeping the mirror portals and gravity switches, but also by making it so that the background flashed rapidly to the song at some points and only periodically revealed the blocks at others (similar to lightning flashes in a storm revealing the local terrain). I switched it up on the player at the drop by making the terrain flash independently from the background and the spikes only periodically revealing themselves.
