After only three days after my wisdom teeth came out, I was in bed a lot and played a lot of GD so I decided to make a gameplay based level with TheFatRat's new song Jackpot. I tried to make the gameplay simple but fun. Check it out: ID: 26597611 Video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFo7vxHblfUThanks Polarbeahr

Looks pretty good, but there are definitely a few ways this could be improved. In multiple parts of the level, there is a lot of empty space where solid obstacles could be placed; example, at 0:11, leading up to the ship segment you could add some more pillars near the bottom to fill up some empty space. Similarly, at the ship section starting at 0:28 there is a lot of empty space.I also think some of the red decorations at 0:28 are really bright (the pointy spinning ones) that stood out a bit too much and could take the player's eyes off of the actual obstacles/ gameplay. The gameplay is pretty solid throughout the level and has good sync, but I feel like in a few parts the color choice doesn't really match up with the way the song sounds. (0:28 section mainly) and the background color sometimes goes a long time without changing. I also noticed that the ground color is blue the entire time and really sticks out. I think if you fixed the ground that this level would be good, most of the things I listed here are either my own opinion or things that automatically get better the longer you spend building. Gave it a like

Time to review this bad boi B)
Gameplay 7/10 The gameplay in this level is alright as always. No spammy gameplay whatsoever and no rough transitions other than 71% when you turn into a UFO with the upside down portals and 38% when you're a mini-robot with those queer slope jumps, so I recommend you don't make those types of transition/gameplay respectiveley in the future or it might irritate some players. Other than that, the gameplay in this level is fine, but I wouldn't say it was fun, per se.
Design 4/10 The design in this level in my opinion is very unoriginal and upbeat as compared to the song choice. I also noticed that the ground stays as the default color throughout the whole level. I'm not sure if that was intentional or a mistake on your part, but the ground of this level was bugging me a bit. The custom background in this level follows pretty much the regular 2.0 level custom background style and you might as well not include them there as I could barely see them as much as I would've liked, well expect from 40% to 50%, but those too follow the stereotypical 2.0 custom background. The color choices in this level did not contrast well with each other and the block design here was downright rubbish and repetitive to add insult to injury knowing that the color choices here too were rubbish. The level overall feels empty and I feel as if you could've included so much more in all parts of this level. But I do like how you took advantage of the blue orbs, I don't know how to say it, "glitter" to make as if things were coming out of the obstacles at 86%. But other than that, the level design here was overall bland, unoriginal and mundane all in one sweet package that is this level.
Music sync 7/10 Much like the gameplay of this level, the music sync here is fine as well compared to the block/background design. It syncs rather well in most parts of the level except 38% with the mini-robot. Other than that surprisingly, the music sync is definitely passable and I have nothing else to say about this aspect of the level.
Overall 6/10 - Good (low-end) I feel as if the only thing you need to improve on severely is your block design. Try to vary it up a little and try to decorate future levels a bit more and try to use the glowing objects with blending to make it seem more brighter and less... mundane. This is a common error of many upcoming creators, choosing colors that don't well with each other as well as they had hoped, and hopefully you can escape that barrier and make better levels. And yes, I always end of sections of the review with "Other than that", it's a bad habit and I went to amend that ASAP ;3;.

Ok so the first think I saw (pretty important I think) is that the ground was blue at the start of the level. I don't mean that the ground cannot be blue but in this case, the blue ground doesn't match the color
So for the first section of the level, I think the blocks were too odd, there could be more in block designs. There were also broken blocks which (I think) you wanna create effects like Reanimation blocks or something like that, though the -Bounce in and out- movements just do not match. More bg effects could be added
For the ball segment (~5%), (the ground is still blue =.=) There could be more decoration such as bg effects and decos except starz. The transition from cube to ball could also have a better visual by filling the gaps below using black blocs.
For the Ufo segment (~11%), the gameplay started to get harder and I saw in block designs and better decorations. Though something is broken in the background OuO, fix it.
For the ship segment (~15%), in my opinion if there is something filling up the space where you fly, for example arrows, could be better. The second part of the ship segment (~19%) could have a moving bg and a wider variety of deco. The ufo segment at 22% had the same problem.
The wave part (~25%) had a decent in bloc design and fun gameplay, while a bg effect could be added. There could also be some pulsingeffects on both the background and the decos.
There could be something to fill the upper part of the bloc at 29% where the wave transfer into cube. Also some deco could be added in the cube section and de bloc in 31 % is quie odd...
So the rest of the level is basically with the same problem and I'm not gonna talk bout it except for some significant parts.
I think you don't need the speed portal when you have the size change portals following The bg design in 48% is good You could add a slope extended from the ground to the 52% transition which it would look a lot better. The Ufo part at 71% is done quite good, the gameplay is fun and de deco is good. The -Almost there- would beter if it is colored as dark purple and changes color together with the bg
Overall comments: I would rate it a 5/10 . While there is a fun gameplay, blocs design and bg effects could be improved. There could also be more 2.0 features such as -when you step on a bloc it glows- effect. The gamplay is good but deco definitely needs improvement. Not bad m9

Review approved, however; When reviewing, don't look at ONLY the flaws and good things about a level. When I see a level like this in overall, I would not even consider starring it. And that is mainly because design and decoration is just severely lacking in this level, not to mention that the gameplay is not the best. However, within 3 days, the gameplay deserves a compliment. It's very good for such fast time, but gameplay is pretty hard to judge. I mostly judge gameplay when looking at bugs, sync and fitting design, too. Going to move this to Decent, because currently it just lacks design and decoration. @herobrineminecraft If you put this level in the 'level preview' (or whatever it is called lol) and tag my name with it, I'll give some detailed info about your gameplay. Moving to Decent...
