Hey So basically, quite a long time ago, my friend Smithy192 made a level called Spectrum Dreams (ID: 14883988). It got judged as good but was improved so it got on to one of the featured lists (Megaman's I think). Bearing in mind it was a relatively early 2.0 level, I would kinda like it to be re-judged, as I personally think it is still feature-worthy now (given some of the unoriginal crap stuff that gets featured now) Here's the video: everyplay.com/videos/27799004I hope you guys like it!

Spectrum Dreams

0-26%I like the custom background here, I really like that you've made it a nice colourful theme. It looks awesome, but one suggestion here would be to not have it follow the player completely in the ball, but only move a little bit so it looks like it's far in the distance; the same goes for the ship part, have it follow a little, but not so it completely locks. The block design in the ball is a good choice for this type of background, but it looks a little bit too plain, I would add some faded sides by using the black faded block. The block design in the ship looks awesome, it works really nicely and the animation looks amazing. The gameplay in the ball is fun and has some nice switches, in the ship is kind of meh, it could be more fun, at the moment its just avoiding a few pillars. The sync is kind of average here, there are some nice beats on some of the jump pads in the ball part, but there aren't any obvious syncs in the ship or during the regular switches in the ball. Everything is completely original, there is no stolen content, however the pillars in the ship are copy pasted.
Design: 8/10 Gameplay: 6/10 Sync: 6/10 Originality: 9/10
26-64%The custom background is incredible again, I love the equalizer effect, the laser through the middle of the screen is a little bit too bright though an can make it quite difficult to see your character, I would make it dimmer. The block design is very cool, however it is copy pasted a lot, which is bad, at least rotate them a little bit so they aren't identical. The same goes for the UFO, it is all copy pasted, please change this. The gameplay improves here, you have got fun fast gameplay here, however, I would make this part into more of a wave course to improve the gameplay. The sync is nothing too special here, the wave isn't off-beat and neither is the UFO, but it's not really synced up to be in time with the beats. No stolen content here, however originality takes a hit as there are too many uses of copy paste.
Design: 7/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Sync: 5/10 Originality: 7/10 64-83%The BG in the robot part is good, it could be jazzed up with various bits of decor, but it's still good. In the ball however I like the background a lot, it looks awesome, however it is taken from Galatic Fragility, which doesn't affect design but will affect originality. The block design in the robot part is excellent, however there is again lots of copy pasting going on here, please change the block shapes here. The block design in the ball section however looks too plain, it is just the standard black block, please add some lines or lasers to it. It's a nice variety, but it is too plain. The gameplay is fun here, the robot part has some nice jumps in it and the ball has a good use of portals and jump rings in it. I must say though that the blind transition is awful, please remove it. Blind transitions are an easy way out of making a good transition, they look bad and are annoying for the player as the player cannot see what is coming up. The sync is much better here, although it's not perfect, it's better than before, the jump rings and jump pads are synced well with the beats. Originality takes three hits this time, once because of the copy pasting in the robot, another because the BG in the ball is taken from Galatic Fragility (or if it's not, it looks too similar), and a third because you have just used the standard block type in the ball section.
Design: 8/10 Gameplay: 7/10 Sync: 6/10 Originality: 5/10 83-100%The BG looks good here, the changing colours are very effective and makes it look very impressive, the stars in the dual wave also look very good, but I would add something in the middle cube. The block design in the ship is very good, but the problem here is that it is completely copy pasted, this is kind of the recurring theme in this level. In the dual wave however, the blocks are not copy pasted from earlier in the level and the colour change animation looks very good! The first thing I will nag you about again is the blind transition, please remove it. The gameplay in the ship part is terrible, it is good at first, but then it is just copy pasted, please change it. The gameplay in the cube part onward is much better though and is more fun. The music in the ship isn't synced, but it isn't clearly off-beat again, the cube bit however is off-beat, I would continue the ship gamemode and then change into the dual wave straight away, because the cube just doesn't fit. The originality takes a hit due to excessive copy paste, but the block design is not copied from earlier in the level, so the penalty in originality isn't huge.
Design: 7/10 Gameplay: 4/10 Sync: 4/10 Originality: 8/10 Design: The BGs are very good throughout the level, and there a very good ideas for the block designs, however design takes a big hit due to copy paste usage and some block designs, for example the ones at the beginning aren't that good due to them being too plain. Score: 7/10.
Gameplay: The gameplay is pretty bad, but not horrible like in nowadays' effect levels, thankfully there is usage of fast gameplay, which is fun for the player, but I would liven it up a little, get some more portals in there, and add a dual part of sorts. Score: 5/10.
Sync: The sync is average in the level, some parts have good sync, but others are bad sync-wise. Score: 5/10.
Originality: The only stolen content I can see is the background from Galatic Fragility, but other than that, no stolen content. Unfortunately this is let down by the fact that there is too much copy paste in the level and some block types are just standard with no personal touch to them. The penalty for copy paste isn't too huge here as the blocks are only copy pasted in their separate parts, there are no instances of copy paste where the blocks are all the same. Score: 7/10.Result: 24/40 - Decent. Difficulty: Hard 4*.Overall Comment: The main issue here is the excessive use of copy paste, you seriously need to not copy paste this much, at least try to be discreet about it, rotate around the blocks and change the shape of some of them. You also need to improve the gameplay, it's okay, but could be much better.

This review is very detailed, I would recommend not using spoilers. I happen to not like that because it drives me crazy. If you want to split it into parts, go ahead and do that, but don't use spoilers. Besides that, fantastic review.
