So, I saw this new video made by jack0b220 of Apologiest X, it is quite amazing.
I'll link it here.
Then, a little later. Some other guy called Cypher made this video about Unnerfed Apologiest.
This makes me ask, what the hell is going on. Isn't Apologiest X the real version of Apologiest? The one that is the old one? Why did this other guy make a video of the old Apologiest that isn't Apologiest X.
What do you guys think?

From what is seen in cyphers description his apologiest copy is the actual one and apologeist X isn't. Apologiest X might have been nerfed from the original apologeist (Jackob nerfed it himself ignoring that factor.)So cypher might have meant that his apologeist is unnerfed because ultravenom might have nerfed his version (apologeist x) or because jackob nerfed it (which as said, might have been initially nerfed by ultravenom). Or in general ultravenom changed some things in his version which lead to nerfs (I can't compare either videos as I am on mobile.)
That's what I can tell tho, you could ask cypher or electromario the differences between them as I could be wrong.

I'll just explain this real quick- I made this investigation along with cypher, and we got to a pretty interesting conclusion. Apologiest was originally a medium-hard demon, however it had a bug at 30% which made it impossible to pass. Due to it being a very old and unnoticed level, once it got updated with fixes, nerfs, and decoration, the concept of it being "impossible" mixed with the difficulty perception back in 1.6 led ultravenom to believe it was an extremely hard and humanly impossible demon. Ultravenom even said that's what he BELIEVED was it, but that's just wrong. Like I said, the nerfs were very minor, but there was this confusion between humanly impossible and impassable. Me and cypher made a prototype version of what be believe could've been apologiest, with some help from iFresternoch and a 17% video we found on everyplay. Proof: everyplay.com/videos/11585192You can see that it was barely nerfed and nowhere near close to Apologiest X. We are still working on this, but so far we got a pretty good concept of what it was. |
