I don't see what's so bad about this level it's a nice remake but it isn't as good as the original

I don't think it's bad, it's just not that good compared to the original. The original one looks unique even if it's a 1.9 level, also I'm not a fan of the changed segments.

I will admit that it looks good, but people hate it because it's a remake. Also, some of the effects are very unoriginal.

I'm going to quote what I said in a similar thread:
"Not all remakes are bad. In fact, lots of remakes are redecorated really well. But, when I see a remake of a level that was already somewhat good, it annoys me because people could just have easily made a level with the same good deco that WASNT a remake. When you remake an already good level it makes me think your just trying to capitalize on the levels popularity. Again, that's not too say all remakes are bad: RWR and THZ are both remakes of old ugly levels that brought it into the modern times. But this is just a remake of a level that doesn't need a remake, and I don't like that"
And also, the deco isn't all that great. What I love about the original is the unique art and deco, and I feel like a lot of that was lost in this version. For example, the slow duel wave is just the same piece of star-art you always see, but in the original it was super unique. Death moon is just a better overall level IMO. Thats not to say this level is bad; a lot of the deco I quite like. But I just wish dragneel had used that good deco in an original level instead of a remake of an already great level.

It's better than a lot of other remakes I've seen, but I think most of the dislike comes from the fact that it's a remake of one of the most famous 1.9 demons out there that didn't need a remake. By its own merits, it's pretty good, but the problem is that it has to be compared to the original Death Moon.

Nah, DMR is actually a pretty good level. Rebirth levels always amaze me.
I think the reason people hate it is because there's alot ot "Rebirth" levels right now and they think it will be the 2nd Nine Circles trend.

To be honest... The original Death Moon is better
the Remade one is just like Every remade level ever, with the spammy custom background with the music pulse objects.
There's not even those spinny triangles, like in the original.
Also the fact that the "Hell" symbol is copy+pasted too many times.
