So a lot of people have brought up bring the like counter back, and I know that the staff team most likely doesn't want to, so i thought of a compromise!
The main reason people want it back is just to see how many likes they have now, so maybe you could implement a 'Private Like Counter' in your own profile that only you can see! That way, even if it is exploited, it's your own downfall cause you can't see that actual amount of likes you have gotten.

I don't see what could be exploited about this, considering Like count is a terrible way of judging post quality.
Liking your own post doesn't add to the counter btw.

Thats why I'm saying it should be private. It's just an interesting thing. Yeah I know that, but by exploitation, I mean going through and liking all of someone else's posts, I've done this to a few people who have asked me to. |
