What constitutes as a 2000's kid

2000's nostalgia is now a thing. It's kinda misused in the sense that a lot of people at my school say they miss the 2000's when most of them barely experienced it.

So this is my personal opinion on what should be considered a proper 2000's kid.

I'll set this into 3 categories:
Early 2000's kids (With 90's influence)
Mid 2000's kids (Mix of 90's influence and 10's influence)
Late 2000's kids (With 10's influence)

I would consider early 2000's kids to be born between 1992 and 1995.

They were at least 5 years old by the year 2000.
They likely had a lot of 90's influence
Able to remember the pretty much they entirety of the decade within their childhood.

I would consider mid 2000's kids to be born between 1996-1999.

They experience most or even all of their childhood in the 2000's.
They lived through the entirety of the decade.
Had a large mix of 90's influences as well as a lot of 2010 influences during their preteen/early teenage years.

I would consider late 2000's kids to be born between 2000 and 2003.
- They were able to experience a fair amount of their childhood in the 2000's.
- They did not live through the entirety of the decade. (Unless u were born on January 1st 2000 kappa)
- By the time they could develop vivid memories, it was probably the late 2000's.

Does this seem fair? Probably a lot of people will get triggered, but don't worry! In a few more years, 2010's nostalgia will be a thing and the cycle continues.
