Hey man! Cool Level!
How I Judge:
I judge differently than how other judges judge. I created my own system to more accurately judge the overall score of a level by using 3 multipliers: Originality, Music Sync, and Background Effects. All of these make for a good level, but to get a good score must be fairly consistent throughout the entire level.
Equation and Variables:
M = Music Sync
O = Originality
B = Background Effects
S = Score of Level (Score of each section divide by the number of sections)
(M * O * B) / 10 * (S / 10) = Final Score of Level

Pre-Reviewing Thoughts:
This has good gameplay. The design looks like it's from early 2.0, and could use some update. Also this is a 6* level.
0% - 25%
Gameplay: The gameplay for this is pretty spectacular... until you get to the ship. The ship is bland, and I would expect it in more of a 3* level than a 6*. Not much else to say here though: 8 / 10
Design: The design is like a flashback to the really early 2.0 days. I think that says enough by itself. The design isn't great, but it is not bad either. So I give it a 7 / 10
Overall Score: (8 + 7) / 2 = 7.5 / 10
26% - 60%
Gameplay: This is some of the best gameplay I've seen in a judged level. I can't spot any bugs, and it is fun and fairly easy. I rate a 9.5 out of 10
Design: The design changes drastically from the early 2.0 stuff I was talking about. It almost instantly changes from old to newer. The stuff gets more and more interesting, and your block design is amazing. The rainbows add some extra color to the red and blue re-used through out the level, which is a plus. So I would put thus at a 8.5
Overall Score: (9.5 + 8.5) / 2 = 9 / 10
60% - 100%
Gameplay: This is where your level goes downhill. The lead up to the bossfight is very, very easy compared to the rest of the level. Try to make the level consistently the same difficulty. The bossfight in itself is pretty good, so I rate 6 / 10.
Design: This is OK for a level, it just looks messy. There is no block design, and the background shakes way too much. The fiery eyeball is actually pretty well designed, and the projectiles do too. I would recommend cleaning it up a bit to keep it more playable. All in all, I rate 6 / 10
Overall Score:
(6 + 6) / 2 = 6 / 10
Final Score:
Overall Score of Level: (7.5 + 9 + 6) / 3 = 7.5 / 10
Originality: Fairly original, see some early 2.0 stuff thrown in. 9 / 10
Music Sync: Music syncs with the entire level consistently, 10 / 10
Background: Background got kind of repetitive with only using red/blue, so 8 / 10.
Final Score:
(9 * 10 * 8) / 10 * (7.5 / 10)
720 / 10 * (.75)
72 * .75
54 / 100
Decent Level
Final Thoughts:
Needs a little work. I would play the gameplay in the middle segment over and over, it just looks fun to play.
