I really don't see why we need this. I more or less think of it like a "bonus for becoming staff". That sounds weird and incredibly wrong, but seriously, if we were to offer this to every member on the forums, even with said limitations in the OP there are still just about 1000 that would probably "qualify." Soon, the censor section would be 95% smilies from spammy users, 4% changing safyire to safyire and 1% actual censors. That may be a bit exaggerated, but you get my point. So, this is a no from me. I kinda agree but still, you can deny requests and make the limits higher. |

Staff Emotes are a thing because, well, they're staff, the ones who manage the forum. And then just adding them for "random" members? I still don't quite see the point. |

I don't really see the point of this. The staff's custom smileys almost never actually get used anyway outside of the Forum Games/Nonsense Lounge, so I doubt adding custom smileys for normal forum members would add much. It would also just clutter up the censors page with lots of unused smileys.
