So I found an auto that if it weren't an auto it would have had a great gameplay! So I thought, why not remove the auto part, maybe slightly nerf (because otherwise would have been impossible at the wave part) and change the colours as well so it's not too copy pasted. And this came out:
ID: 24721172 Difficulty: 9 stars or maybe easy demon.

Alright, here goes. GamePlay: Good for the most part, I didn't like that spam mini wave at the beginning and I am not a fan of swing-copters mode, as it is pretty hard for me. The ball mode at 0:24 green orb is really buggy, and that's why I tend not to use green orbs in my levels. 8/10 Sync: Decently good, the beginning was fantastic, but then when the drop happened that wave and swing-copters mode was... ew. I like fast-paced levels, and by fast paced I mean fast (obviously) and a lot of portals switching every 2-3 seconds, maybe even 1-2 seconds. The wave and swing-copters doesn't sync with the music at all, unfortunately. 5/10 Deco: Very basic deco, almost all of which could be made in 1.9. Most of the colors don't use blending, and that is one of my pet-peeves. Also, the color NEVER changes, which is very bad. The background always stays black and the blocks always stay purple. Try to vary the colors next time or try to use most pulse triggers. 5/10 Originality: Not much to say here, almost all of it is taken from old 1.9 levels. Don't get me wrong, I like that style, but this level doesn't use that style very well. 3/10 Total: 21/40 or 2.1/4. Ouch. This is the lowest review I have made, sorry about that. Barely Star-worthy. If it was rated, it would be 9 no feature. Next time, try to use my tips to your advantage. (I also don't understand why it is a "core" level, cuz it's not really.)

I am not a level judge, but I will judge your level. So, I am someone who focuses on Gameplay and Replayability to a level. These two categories are my main go for with this level and I hope you take my advice into consideration. Here is my critique scale: Gameplay: 35% of 100 Replayability: 35% of 100 Design: 20% of 100 Other: 10% of 100 Let's begin, now shall we? Gameplay: 30/35 Alright, gameplay is probably one of the hardest things to build in a level in my opinion. I do notice that you said that this was an auto level which made me a bit suspicious before reviewing this level because auto levels tend to need to be auto levels and should not be changed so that they are different levels and I will explain why later in this. The gameplay, however, is fantastic, it looks really fun to play. The only spots I would take off of the gameplay is going to be for the swing copter and the overuse of the wave. The swing copter, while it is a very cool mechanic, the way this is created, for me, it is the use to annoy people and I happen to not want to get annoyed while playing a level. Swing copter shouldn't be in levels that are not demons and this is definetely not a demon, but parts like that are really annoying, especially to tablet users such as me, so that is where I am going to give advice for, don't use swing copters in levels that are not demons. The overuse of the wave is also kind of annoying. The wave is a mechanic that is extremely overused so it can fit with music sync and that is one thing I dislike about this level is that there is one part that looks like it is wave for at least 20 - 30% of the level and that really bugs the gameplay here, but otherwise, I do like the gameplay and the idea of it. Advice: do not use the wave for long periods of time. Replayability: 25/35 Ok, this level is moderately replayable. Replayability is the point of making a level replayable. For example, you replay Bloodbath so many times to see if you are better at it or just because. Or you will replay The Nightmare because it is easy. That is the true challenge here. It is really hard to make a level replayable because it just needs to be something you can come back to. This level has some annoying sections, such as swing copter and the changes of portals at the beginning of the level which can make a player frustrated. I would recommend, in order to increase the replay value of a level in the future, you try to focus on levels that are replayable, or that you come back to in general to replay. I recommend this for all types of things and that you really put this in consideration for the future. Design: 5/20 Alright, this is going to hurt you tremendously. You said that you got this off of an auto level which automatically qualifies for a copied design and that by itself comes to me is going to take half of the design off. You basically copied a levels design and used it for yourself so you can try to get a star rating for a level. This is NOT good and I would highly recommend this as a learning experience and not copy other people's work. It isn't nice to them and it is saying, "This is my level." even though it isn't. I took another 5 off here because the color is always purple and that is going to make the level look horrible. You need some sort of background change or else this is just not the best spot for you. In the future, I would highly recommend using different colors and not copying designs because sometimes it does get fooled and it is a cheap way to get features. Other: 4/10 So because of the copy, that will drop this a couple, but there was also a mention of a terrible bug at 24% above me. Bugs are not a good thing to have in levels because it frustrates players because they die at those points so often, so I would recommend fixing that for this level's purpose. There are a few parts that are out of sync with this level which makes the level incredibly hard to play mainly because GD was all about music timings and then you come to a level like this where the music is out of sync. So future references here I would recommend finding and fixing all of the bugs in levels BEFORE they are launched and I would also recommend to keep your levels as close to in sync as possible or else it just will feel out of place. Overall Score: 64/100 (Good Level) Now, I did say this level is good, but it really should be decent. You were about 4 points above the mark of the last part of Good. I will say though, there are many flaws with the level and this level should have a chance to improve, but the only way to improve this level is to become better at creating and to figure out how to make this a 2.0 level and how to make this level more like it belongs on 2.0. This level has lots of spaces to improve and I would definitely like to see those changes to this level. If this level has a chance for a star rating or feature, I would recommend 9 for an rating. I wish you the best of luck with this level!

Approved the reviews above, but I'm moving this to decent levels, and not good levels. That is because I feel that the level isn't good enough to get a "good" rating. traviss1 TheTrueEclipse Togru
