Joining the United States armed forces has always been a dream of mine. Now that I'm starting my junior year, now is the time to decide.
What branch do you guys recommend for me? Please post why or why not recommending a certain branch.
I cannot join the airforce because apparently I'm "partially colorblind" according to my local eye clinic.

If you want to partake in direct action, it will be better to join the Army as an infantryman. Otherwise, you may want to be in an admin position of another brand, like the Air Force, for instance. At the same time, consider what you are good at. If you have extensive mechanical engineering knowledge and skills, then that is one of the good job opportunities for you to take to effectively serve your country. |

jhockpanda thevaultinourstars Please don't create joke posts on a thread such as this unless you plan to also make actual contributions to the discussion - I know, there isn't a serious tag on the thread, but the topic itself should imply this to some degree  Also, do keep in mind that making such joke/spam/useless/irrelevant posts on threads that have been inactive for at least 2 months is called necroposting and is against the forum rules; the thread hasn't been left alone for two months quite yet, but it's cutting it very close, and your posts are nevertheless not necessary.
