Euphoric Slumber by Zethia
GameplayReally fun! The dual gameplay in the level is well-designed. It's asymmetrical, but not buggy and requires the player to focus on both sides. The difficulty is also very balanced, remaining hard throughout the entire level and no huge difficulty drops/spikes. Furthermore, there aren't any unexpected transitions or obstacles. There are a few invisible portals here and there, but they honestly don't end up mattering too much. The only nitpick I have with the level is that I would like to see more use of moving obstacles/teleportals to spice up the gameplay, but the dual gameplay definitely more than makes up for that. There's also a lot of portals and different obstacle structures to keep the gameplay interesting in and of itself. Decoration
Design is great as well. The block design is very complex but doesn't look too overdone. The custom BG is also well-designed and adds to the space atmosphere of the level. The star custom BG lasts a bit too long, though. Switching it to something else after the first drop that still maintains the space atmosphere like planets or comets would be better. That being said, it doesn't hinder the design too much and the custom BG still switches at some points to add variety. Overall, the design is very clean and organized and is neither over- nor under-decorated. Music Sync
Transitions and effects synced well with the music. The jumps in the robot/cube/ball segments did too to an extent, although the parts in between the two drops could use some improvement. The design is not exactly the first thing that comes to mind when I listen to the song but it certainly fits.
Overall
Amazing design with some fun dual gameplay to boot. Not really much else to say here. Definitely belongs in Feature-Worthy.
