I don't know where to post this, sorry. So I play levels and they give me stars. But I don't know what they do. Is there a shop? Can you trade them? Can you unlock certain things with them? And what do they even mean? I really need your help, I'm new to this game (former osu player  ) |

Hello  Stars can be looked at in many ways. If you get more of them, you are valued more of a better player. If you get certain amounts of them, you can unlock new icons and achievements. If you get many, many stars, you can get onto the leaderboard, which consists of the top best 100 players. Hope this helped! |

You can unlock some new icons until you reach 4000 stars. They don't really do anything at that point onward other than raise your point on the leaderboard.

Stars are a stat, you see how many you have in your profile, and they do two things:
1. When you reach certain amounts, you can get achievments that unlock icons.
2. The number of stars you have is how the leaderboards are ordered, so to get into the Top 100 you need a ton of stars.

I think what people haven't mentioned, is that stars aren't a currency. you don't 'spend' them, as such.

They're just a kind of points in the game. The amount of stars puts you higher in the global leaderboards.
Some people might want you to require a certain amount of stars (example: clans). Other than that, they're only used for some special achievements.

hello everyone, this was an experiment.
I got inspiration by 3 burps i see's guest post about how there are no checkpoints in normal mode.
The way you are all accepting of "new" players (since this one was fake lel) makes me really proud of the community. Also, nice Wikipedia quotes m8s XD

How can a totally new GD player already know about the forums? (Unless he searched for it but I doubt anyone does that when they start playing GD) |
