There must be a plugin for this... essentially, when a curse word is used in a post, the user is automatically given a warning percentage and the word used is filtered out and/or swapped for something less rude. The same would go for swear word bypassing, which I'll talk about freely under the spoiler below, so as to not offend anyone. If you do not want to read swear words and find them offensive, please do not open the spoiler. (to demonstrate this, I will be bypassing the swear filter using asterisks in place of vowels) Moderators, I am happy to delete this post if you do not like it, but you have been warned. Things under the spoiler could be offensive, so tread carefully. Don't click the next spoiler unless you want to see the (actually pretty mild) swear words. Are you sure you want to see this? I'm giving you a last chance. If you click again, it was your own fault, so please don't flame me  Ok, you came here. Words such as d*ck (and bypasses like dic, diki, dik, etc.) would be banned. This would probably take a lot of time to make, now that I think of it ;3; Lower level cuss words should be punishable by a 5% warning. So this post would currently get me a 20% warning (Mods, please don't do this. I tried to warn people about this, and hopefully it's hidden enough. Next up I have the stronger cuss words, which will be addressed in the next spoiler (in case you don't mind mild swearing but hate strong language ;-  Offended? Exit this thread. I am trying my hardest not to get a warning level here ;3; I hope you wanted to see this. Moving on, words like f*ck (and fak, fuk, (which I have seen Ryan use before ) fack and feck) would be punishable by warnings of 15% if indirect (not aimed at a particular person), and 40% if used in insulting someone. So stacking all the warnings this post would have currently gotten me if my idea was implemented, I would have a warning level of 95%. Almost banned :c) Finally, I'll move on to racist and sexist slurs. I will not be using any examples, because these are truly offensive and can get you a jail sentence. Are you sure? Go on if you dare... Racist or sexist slurs (derogatory terms, etc.) should be punishable by an instant 100% warning level and a ban, depending on the context of the situation (eg. direct or indirect, stringed with other insults or purely on its own?). In my opinion, they are unforgivable and stupid. And no, I am not a feminist xD

I don't see much point in giving a warning/banning someone for a couple of words. This is a forum, not a church.
If you can't handle big-people words, then you probably shouldn't be on the internet.

THIS And in response to @themeaningfulgd you can directly bypass the filter and write the words (WARNING: All of the words that are censored with the filter that I know of are here, but I am using this as an example, so please don't warn me) WARNING: There is a lot of uncensored swearing in the next post, but this is an example, so PLEASE do not warn me. I am merely showing that it is possible to bypass the filter so mods and other people are aware of the swear filter being easily bypassable because they didn't seem to realize before.

No, this isn't a church, but it's also not the ghetto. There are kids on this forum under the age of 12, and it's been specifically stated that this is a "family-friendly" forum; do you hear swearing in family-friendly movies? And it's not that we can't handle swearing, it's just the rule. Rules exist in everything; it's a part of life. If you can't handle a few rules, then you shouldn't be on the Internet, or just go anywhere in general. Also, "big people words".
