Normal wave has nearly the same horizontal and vertical speed(?), while the miniwave has much more vertical than horizontal speed.
So... mini wave is worse.

I don't really understand what you meant, so I'll just say what my least favourite parts in the Nine Circles are. The ball. It's by even hard it's just slightly annoying. The rest of the level is really easy and I think the mini wave is really overrated.
If your talking about all NCs in general, I hate the ones with 273848 gravity switches

I suffer a lot more on the upside down wave because it’s more uncommon, so I never get much practice on it  |

Honestly I'm not that bad on upside-down waves... until the passages are tight or you have barely any time to react.

I actually think the normal wave is worse than mini wave. People use normal wave a lot more than mini wave.
As for upsidedown wave or normal wave....upsidedown wave
