Well, it was pretty fun playing this level. Deco: Excellent It was pretty spot on! I really liked the stars in the level, it prevented it from looking empty, and really added.some life to it! The block designs were also very nice and varied, and the best was the ones that looked glowing. The orb deco was also excellent in every section, but I feel as though the portals could have used some deco surrounding them too. For the most part, you managed to vary your deco, but it got repetitive it but here and there, although it wasn't too often, the stars and clouds were used again and again. Another great thing about it as how much the colours changed, that was an excellent touch and definitely made the level more energetic. There's much else to say about decoration, as it is almost perfect, there's just a few kinks you need to iron out, but it was excellent!
Gameplay: Very Good Gameplay was done very well! There weren't any bugs found from me, and the level is quite smooth. As well as this, the level isn't too confusing, and doesn't have you doing very intricate bits all the time. The level has some very nice and smooth moving bits which help add some life to it, but there has some very large gaps where no moving parts are seen, and this somewhat takes away a bit of energy from the whole thing. There is one big problem - and it's why I didn't rate the gameplay as "excellent" - in various sections, shapes don't vary too much, as in you would see a shape being used in a section, and it is repeated again, in the same section no less. this looks far too copied and pasted. I would suggest varying from the shapes you have, adding or taking away blocks for some variation. Or you could change the sizes, so that everything doesn't look the same. That's all the problems I could find!
Music Sync: Very Good It was done pretty well! Some parts definitely connected better with the music than others. Out of the whole, the best synced parts were the cube areas. Those correlated to the music almost perfectly, and this helps to construct the idea that you payed a lot of attention to the music as a vital role in the making of a good level. Which it is. I really liked how you didn't use gravity pads to deal with the fast beats, at one point the wave takes care of that. This is another sign that you recognised the music's importance to the level. I also noted that the upbeat theme very much fits with the upbeat song, so well done for choosing a theme that fits perfectly with the song. That being said, though, that doesn't mean there weren't any problems, I found one. The mini robot synced the least here. It seems as though it was forgotten about and then briefly added it, as it loosely follows the music, so sync this more.
Flow: Very Good The flow of the level was also done very well! The transitions were nice and smooth, and I couldn't find any especially jarring in the level. There is a small problem though. In a few areas, it is difficult to react. An export would be the reverse portal; you have to do something at these points before the screen has fully flipped around. This can cause the player to panic and jump (or reverse gravity, as one of these sections is the ball) and most likely have to restart because they died. Try to allow for a faster reaction time by prolonging the time until you actually have to do something. The ball and the mini robot suffer from this, and it is worse with the robot as you have to jump through very quickly over a spike. Creativity/Originality: GoodThe level was alright in the ways of creativity. There weren't any completely fascinating and innovative ideas during the level, although I did like the glowing aura that surrounded the blocks in several bits of the level. As for originality, well that wasn't too much there. The pink wave is very popularized idea, as is the "candy" theme used in several sections of the level. The moving lasers CBG is something's used time an time again, so it is nothing new. As for the rest of the level, those parts were very original, and the clouds with the silver lining aren't used too often in these themes of levels, as it is more of a monochrome thing.Overall: ExcellentI think it belongs in feature worthy, as an average feature worthy level. There is a still a few flaws to it, but it is still very very good. Happy Creating!
