I dont know if the old theme is still there or not, but I just created a new one. The theme is pretty much the same as the default one, with the minor changes, because I'm no expert on that stuff, but I hope those who like black text on white background will enjoy it!
EDIT: the theme name is "basic"

oh. The theme is called "basic"! That theme doesn't look similar to the current one, when I tried it out yesterday it looked like the default ProBoards theme, nowhere near as good as the old default theme... sorry thats not what I meant. When I said similar to the current ones, I mean in layout-wise (like, none of that fancy CSS stuff because i dunno how) sorry thats unclear. The purpose of the theme is solely to cater to people who like black text on white background, if ryan or another theme guy wants to improve it then they can however. |

Was the old theme deleted? No, this theme [is] the old one, the colors were just changed. Perhaps the theme designers could remake the old one from the new one, save it separately, and then make it an option as well. |

Has this been considered?
Also something else to note:
The default font for me appears as Trebuchet MS, larger than usual in the editor, considerably larger and quite different from the font it actually is when I post it. This is extremely annoying and should also be fixed.

The new forum theme really hurts my eyes, I honestly hate it... I get that it was supposed to look like Geometry Dash itself, but I don't think that style works very well with a forum theme... For now I'm using the Abstract theme, because it's the best out of the currently selectable themes IMO (even though it has some flaws)
Edit: What the heck, why was this rejected??? Many people supported it, and it was just randomly moved into the rejected board without any mod/admin/owner saying anything about this. The new theme is pretty bad overall and I and a lot of people have been stuck here using the other themes, none of which are nearly as good as the old default theme, and this suggestion gets rejected for seemingly no reason. (Or at least no reason was provided.)
I would really like a reconsideration of this or at the very least a reason for why this was rejected.
Cloudstar Igno kiriE I don't know why this was moved to rejected, or who moved it. Personally, I think that having the old theme as an option would definitely be okay, and is the best option. Unfortunately I am not a Theme Manager, so I can't do anything about it; if you seriously want the original theme back, then I suggest you message them and see if they will add it as an option. |
