This question has been asked a LOT recently. Here's a quick guide to changing it- and hopefully this will stop any future threads about the same problem. First, open the Profile tab and click "Edit Profile". Then go into the Personal Tab and scroll down until you see areas titled: "Mini-Profile Background", "Mini-Profile Name Colour", and "Mini-Profile Text Colour". Normally, you can refresh the page and ProBoards will help you out by offering a colour picker and a new dialog box with areas to input stuff, and it will automatically format it for you as well. But sometimes, the help just doesn't come. Then you'll need to input information manually. Colour BackgroundFind a colour that you like and search up the hex code for it. Or use a website like this. You should get a 7-character sequence that looks something like #000000. Remove the octothorpe (#) and input the code into {"image":"","color":" <insert hex colour here>"}. Example: {"image":"","color":"000000"} Image BackgroundWhat you want to do is find a picture that is not overly small. Find the direct image link- usually, this can be done by right-clicking and selecting "Open image in new tab". Then copy/paste the URL into {"image":" <insert image URL here>","color":""}. Example: {"image":"http://i.imgur.com/ybAivKj.png","color":""} And that's it! To prevent further problems, make sure everything is pasted as it is here: with all the quotations, curly brackets, commas, case-sensitive, etc.
