So I've decided to start a little series called "Is it Possible" in which I examine borderline difficulty level and determine if they can be completed. I'm putting this in General Discussion, because it's about Geometry Dash. If any of you admins think this is out of place, tell me and move it to the lounge. I can continue the series from there.
Silent Club was a seemingly impossible demon level uploaded by Play 1107696 (the same guy who made Alphabet X). It had a hidden secret way that people eventually discovered, and lost its ratings as demon. The question is, is the original level, without the secret way, possible? You can try the level for yourself, even if the original has been deleted. Just search "Silent Club Copy" and you'll get plenty of results.
The level has a few straight fly parts, and plenty of tricks, but what makes Silent Club so infamous is its orb spam.
The first one is possible, I’ve done it myself. The second one is plausible, we’ll get to that later. The third and fourth, however, question the possibility of beating the level, especially the third.
Although it may not be visibly clear, that incline in the middle of the third spam section can be survived just by falling upside-down through it, making the third as hard as the fourth, just longer.
The level also has other difficult sections, but are beatable by today’s straight flyers.
In fact, Zobros completed the entire level with a start position from 52% and intense lag:
And in the comments he even noted:
“Please, this is not even hard. Don't start to think me as a ‘god’ or anything like that. Anyone with decent skills can do this. I made this video only to show I have not quit.”
Which just goes to show that the second half of the level, relatively, is fairly easy.
So, now we can discuss whether the second, third, and/or fourth spam sections are beatable. To figure this out, I had to first find how fast you had to click (or tap, or press a key) to keep consistent with the level. The setups looked like this for the second spam section:
The setup for the third and fourth was:
I recorded me playing each one and then figured out, frame by frame, how much time there would have to be between each click. The results for the second spam section were:
START: 5.31
END: 5.46
TOTAL ELAPSED TIME: 0.15 seconds
CLICKS PER SECOND REQUIRED: 6.666
That looks crazy at first. 6 and two-thirds clicks per second? That can’t be possible.
Or can it?
Before we get to that, here’s the results for the third and fourth orb spam setups:
START: 7.97
END: 8.05
TOTAL ELAPSED TIME: 0.08 seconds
CLICKS PER SECOND REQUIRED: 12.5
Ok, that’s a little ridiculous, don’t you think? However, some evidence I have contradicts what you might expect. First off, I’ve completed a level with measured elapsed time at 0.11 seconds, which equals 9.09 clicks per second. This level has been taken down from the servers for whatever reason, but I still have a video of it:
So that covers the mini section, but it’s not up to par with the third and fourth orb spams. But I have convincing evidence those sections might be possible.
After all, I’m nowhere close to the fastest spammer in the world. There are people who are probably 0.03 seconds faster than I am, fast enough for silent club.
But in a small computer program I’ve created, my best keypress gap is about 0.06 seconds, as you can see here:
Which proves that tapping that fast it completely possible, it’s just a matter of stamina and consistency.
So no, I wouldn’t say that, at this moment, Silent Club is possible. However, it’s still plausible. I think if they practiced thoroughly, some of the best players could achieve completing Silent Club. However, there’s no motivation right now, so we’ll have to wait a while before we can get any “Silent Club Rebirth”.
Hope you enjoyed

EDIT:
It will be about 10 days before the sequel (Silent Acropolis) is published. I'm on a vacation for 7 days and this level is so in-depth I'll need 3 days to work on it.
