I already reviewed this level on discord.
Design: 3/10 It was average most of the time, except for the times where it was terrible. 58% has terrible block design choices, I am not quite sure how you got those. Block design at 75% is weird, I can't even call it block design. Just some slopes with dots.
Decoration: 1/10 ALLRIGHT Beginning the colors contrast a bit too much. First ufo and wave, RED AND BLUE? REALLY??!? That is one of the worst combinations on GD. Then at 35%, we have full-black spikes atop some random block thing. Man. Next part is ok, but robot is awful. If you were the first one to make this it would be ok, but so many levels have used that custom background and rainbows that you seem like triaxis, copying other peoples levels and changing them a little. 73%, the spikes at the bottom just end. They don't flow into the ground, they just end. Blech.
90% i like a little, but that dosent make up for the terribleness in the rest of the level.
Total score: 2/10

Dude, you only focused on the bad parts and didnt even go to the good in the level. You gave it a low rating just because of those parts. Plus the gameplay has to give some sort of rating, same with originality. I wont take that rating seriously. I mainly focused on 2 things. 1: gameplay 2: block design

I have got to dissagree with chocothep1e here. So to start of with the design: I think the design is actually pretty well excecuted. Especially the first ufo part looks really great I think and you used some good looking block decorations, and changed them up every once in a while. Also I think you did a good job with foreground decoration. The background decoration is missing/not that great at some places though, the last background you used for example is almost a copy of other levels (so very unoriginal). Another flaw with the design is that the level was a bit messy. Like suddenly ending spikes (like choco said), missing cornerpieces at the wave, etc. Another thing to note is that certain flashes and stuff weere synced to the music which makes it look a little bit more alive.
The gameplay is kinda enjoyable too, there is variation in it and good use of portals and stuff, a couple moving objects even. The movements are well synced to the music. THe only problem I really had with the gameplay was that the ships relyed a bit too much on orbs, and were alot harder than the rest of the level.
I would put this somewhere borderline decent/good.

Agreed, this isn't quite in good levels category, but definitely not needs improvement, Moving to decent levels
