This is going to be my first attempt at a review, so it might not be that good. Sorry if the review sounds harsh at some points, but that's the only way I can express the extent of something's goodness or badness. To be honest, I don't really care about decoration and that stuff at all, but most others stress on decoration, so I'm going to review this as an average GD player. Anyways, time to start.
Cube Section (1-18%): Overall the gameplay is good. Nothing too hard. There's good use of background flashes to keep it interesting, and the jumps are well synced to the music. However, there could be more decoration besides the clouds. There's alot of empty space that could be filled.
Ship Section (19-34%): Again, the gameplay is fine; nothing too difficult. however, the decoration starts to go downhill at this point. First of all, the background flashes suddenly stop. The same exact saws, clouds, etc are used many times. Also, the spikes on the top seem to be colored P2, while the bottom spikes are white. Not sure if that was intended or not, but it seemed kinda strange.
Cube Section (35-50%): Gameplay here is fine again, but again the decorations and obstacles are repeated many times, and again the background flashes have mysteriously vanished. There is also something completely invisible at 39% that kills you if you go onto the lower platform. Again, I don't know if that was intentional, but if it was, it should either be removed or made visible.
Ship Section (51-65%): This is where things start to really go downhill. There is almost no decoration whatsoever, and the gameplay isn't really that great. What this looks like is a bunch of groups of randomly scattered saws. The saws overlap in some places and overall looks kinda messy. This section needs the most improvement. Organize the saws in a more clean looking order or replace them with something else, and add more decoration.
Robot Section: (66-100%): Ok, at this point things are just at rock bottom. Again, just like the previous ship section, there's almost no decoration and just randomly scattered saws everywhere. From 51% all theme, gameplay, and decoration is completely lost, and just becomes Adventures in Sawland.
Overall: The first half is good, but add more decoration and fix buggy parts like the one at 39%. Try to use diverse objects instead of just using the same three objects as decoration; fill in those blank spots and add background flashes. As for the second part, that really needs some improvement. All aspects of the level have vanished. Either rearrange the saws to look more organized and add WAY more decoration, or just remove the saws altogether and replace them with something more captivating and diverse.
I have no idea how to score, so I'm just gonna score based on other reviews I've seen.
Score Summary: Gameplay: 4/10 (Gameplay was fine until second half, except for one bug(?).)
Decoration: 3/10 (Mainly background needs improvement in 1st half, but that's it. Main deco problems was in 2nd half. )
Sync: 1/2 (Most jumps were pretty much perfectly timing to the beat. Good job on this. However the ship/robot is not as good)
Final Score (if I calculated this right...): 12/30. Which is....whatever 12/30 is.
Rating: 4 Stars
Not hard, but not for beginners.
