Level Name: bittersweet ID:20438576 Requested Rating: 3 Starts (Normal)
Just a little easy level that I made. I really worked hard on it and would like it to be star rated, and if you think so, feature it by all means!

Aight, for another review Here's a video if you want to put it in your OP: everyplay.com/videos/29812758This level looks really cool. It is fun and good looking just from the start, and overall a good level. Gameplay: Not too bad! The beginning cube is pretty fun to play. It's not way too hard, either. The ship afterward is pretty easy, and also fun to play. (Note that I am not grading based off difficulty, but rather difficulty fluctuation) The wave afterward is easy, but very repetitive, which is boring. Then, the ball was easy, but kind of unpredictable. The transition to UFO, then, is pretty unpredictable as well. I had to figure out how to beat that part by playing again, because you need to jump right away. The UFO is easy after that, however, and pretty fun to play. The transition to ship, again, unpredictable! If you don't know what's coming, how are you supposed to know what to do? It is still pretty easy though. the robot afterwards is calm and easy, but the wave afterwards is, again, repetitive! Try not to just copy and paste things, try to also rearrange them and make at least a little of a challenge, and fun gameplay.. Overall, gameplay is pretty good, but you really need to work on transitions and copy/paste. (7.8/10) Music sync: Your sync was on the spot! Very few flaws in music sync, but could use a tiny bit of refining in the beginning. Not much else to say here..
Sync gets (9.8/10), a little off in the beginning Design: The design of your level is awesome! The background in the beginning is simple, and the blocks look cool, and the other 2.0 stuff makes the level look really up to date! The ship custom bg is cool, and the obstacles look custom-made The wave looks really epic with the rainbow blocks, and keeps the level 2.0. The background still looks cool (and I forgot to mention its pulsing with the music is great as well.). The ball has a nice change in design, the green bricks look really cool. The UFO looks slightly messy, but still fun to look at. The second ship background makes things hard to see, but the fire pattern is awesome, as well as the obstacles. The robot.. Was that inspired by undertake? I like the custom bones. The wave then looks really epic, but is kind of confusing. I still love it though! Design gets a (9.4/10). Try to make things less messy, maybe..? Overall, (9.4+9.8+7.8)/3 = 9/10, nice work! Definitely deserves a feature. GL on CC! Sorry if this is rushed, I was pressed for time :/[/spoiler]

Okay, so I dissagree with BillyJobBoe here. Starting with the gameplay: The gameplay is not that great to be honest. One of the main flaws is that this level has more of a 'dodge the obstacle' feeling than 'follow the route'. Follow the route is way more specific, it doesnt necessairily have to be harder, but it makes it more enjoyable. The first ship part for example, was dodge the round things. But the cube, and robot have an unavoidable sequence of taps, with variation between timing and duration of your presses. Now, it was very repetitive. Especially the wave wasnt that fun to play, it was really repetitive in the movements, because the gameplay layout only existed of some slopes sticking out repeatingly. Tha last wave part had the same problem, and besides that it was hard visible what you could touch and what not the first time, because it is hard to see the difference between the deco blocks and the non-deco blocks. Other problems I had with the gameplay were deaths when having just a wrong timing before invisible portals (you could call it bugs), hard to see where you have to exactly get through at the ufo, and transitions without warnings. Also, I would recommand using a bit more portals (like gravity, small/mini, or speedchanges. Duals can too if you want), maybe some more moving objects in the gameplay or slopes. Also a smalll lack of jump orbs. (like, the robot was still a bit plain and existed of a couple of jumps over fancy spikes and one jump orb). The movements were well synced to the music though.
The design was a little bit better excecuted, but still had some flaws. For instance, the brick backround is standing out a bit too much for a background, and is the same for a really long time. You did pulse it though, which is good. Also, the repetitive wave is also repetitive designwise, it is the same over and over. The ball part could use some more block decoration, because it is just the bricks. Also, I am not really a big fan of the fire myself. I think it looks messy, but that could just be my taste. It is a bit spammy though. The other flaws with the design are mainly that it is somethimes a bit messy. There arent any cornerblocks in the last wave for example, and when there are transitions you can somethimes see some messy stuff you arent supposed to see. Also, there is a small lack of foreground decoration. You used a background, but that should not be a main focuss, use foreground decoration for that instead.
I would put this at decent myself, because there are just too many flaws with the level. I think this is definitely not feature worthy (compare this level to the levels in the feature list, and you see that those levels are just smoother in gameplay and design), but I will still let another judge take a look at this level.
I hope this helped for your future levels.

I have to go with Haastregt here, unfortunately this level is nowhere near feature-worthy ;3; But I kinda liked the atmoshphere of it! Moving to decent levels.
