Sorry, what I just said didn't make any sense. I meant $200 is somewhat cheap for an iPod but most people aren't going to or can't fork over that much to support the optimization of a mobile game. Actually 200$ is expensive these days for an iPod. The latest iPod is only 120$. I was saying the phone I use is 200$

It doesn't matter. No one should be forced to upgrade and spend 100s of dollars just to play a $2 game that they could've played before. The iPod that I had costed around $200. I cannot even use it to play GD anymore. Hell, even my galaxy s6, one of the most powerful phones on the market still lags on levels like retro circles. Making it so that less and less people can play the game just so that you can get a better experience is selfish. Not to mention that not everyone has the money to waste $300 on a new phone or device. Not everyone is as well off as you are. Games are going to update, requiring more power. Nothing we can do about it and the best thing to do is to adapt to it. If your device can't support it, that's ultimately not the developer's problem or anyone else's problem This game is a mobile game. Not a pc game that makes you have a pc with $200 graphics cards. Mobile games are supposed to be accessible and easy to run. There isn't a single other mobile game that I've played that is as hard to run as geometry dash. I can run so many other games on my iPod so why not GD? Why do I have to get an entirely new device to substitute my old one that can run literally every other popular game on the market? Yeah I get what you're saying, but this will only hurt the game and the community if it happens.

Not to mention there is a range of required power for playing games. Obviously cut the rope isn't going to lag on most devices.

$200 is not dirt cheap. $0 is dirt cheap because I can get dirt for free in my backyard (as well as most others) iPods don't cost 200$ Yea, they do.

Uh.. no? My iPad can run Minecraft PE (and all other games) with no lag, Geometry Dash is the only one that does. It's even more pronounced on my friend's iPhone, he can run Minecraft PE just as well but even Deadlocked has some lag and input delay ;-; wasn't it because GD wasn't optimized or somethingI have an iPad Mini (Not Retina) that can't run GD without a little lag but that's it Does Retina display affect laggyiness? my iPad Air as mentioned before can run some pretty intensive levels like a primary 1 maths worksheet

Do you know how many people play this game on their phones? Do you know how many people won't be able to play if this happens? Also, I'm not going to spend $7 on infinity blade. Do you have any other games that prove your point?

Also of course it's not Geometry Dash 2, XD Yes I know how many people play on phone, since I play on phone. Most people will be able to play, just not while recording or with high detail, like it's always been.

RobTop should just discourage people from using high objects or high density of objects. I personally only lag with high density objects.

He doesn't know if he should increase the limit (riot wants 100k lmao) BUT he said he's gonna do something special about that. inb4 Michigun and other mobile players quit because they can't handle 40k objects lmao we would have already quit, for exemple the last knobbelboy's level has 81k OBJECTS IN IT

I feel like he only took a few of our suggestions and decided to come up with a bunch of his own ideas Yes, he got my Red High Jump Pad idea but it got "deleted" here, I can't find my thread.
