Be more detailed & specific in level judging. I will review this.
0%-5%: It looks smooth with the moving objects thing, though the gameplay is pretty terrible here. You might ask "Why?" well it is because the moving blocks are unfair. You kind of need to memorize the parts where you need to jump. And with the moving block transition is very messy. Music sync is very good with this! Also I didn't notice that the blocks light up along with your jumps with music. Pretty old but not used too a lot in level creating. The detail is just about good.
6%-11%: Well what ya know? Its another hell/dungeon type again. This part is really unnecessary since you changed the theme of your level too fast and wayyy of the main style. Gameplay doesn't look to bad, you gave enough space to not make it too unfair. Music sync is pretty unique. Since when the music went up, your ship had to went up. Pretty cool with that. The detail needs.. more again. Just some fire, blocks, the black spike thingy and saws. Also the "wall is fake" thingy is 100% unnecessary. Like why do you need it? Possibly to trick the player? Not to offend much but that is pretty stupid.
12%-23%: This just literally hurt my eyes. Why? The moving block things. It also is very confusing on what block to die on or land on. The coin isn't too hard to get. Thankfully, you gave me some space to fit through and get the coin and get out. Nearly no music sync added here except entering the portals. Detail is TERRIBLE! Why? Because it is pretty sketchy. The gameplay doesn't seem so so bad, although the moving blocks need to change a bit somehow. How? Keep it less movey if it makes sense. Like not to make the blocks move so much. Since it does. Theme changed again....
24%-28%: Lets go! Always the classic way. Though i don't really like the hiding coin there. First time I didn't even notice that there was a little blue circle kinda thing that notifies you that there is the coin there. Detail is bad. Just a "Lets go!" and the water thingy also including stars. No music sync mark added since it seems pretty difficult to add some. Gameplay is also not marked since you can't really have fun with this part. Theme changed again..
29%-45%: Oh my goodness. This ruined my eyesight... (Lol JK but it hurt again.) Theme changed again. Went from a dark to sky colours. Detail is terrible. Only some round thingys that surrounds the orbs. Also the coloured spikes. Background is VERY sketchy. You could include a different one instead of a 45° angled squares. Music sync is done pretty well. You goto the orb when the music beat changes. Gameplay is pretty fun with the music. I also love the piano types of music
46%-57%: Here it is.. The easiest part of the whole level. Classic one spike jumpin part. Though i do love how you matched the music with it
Jump when the music beat changes. ALTHOUGH detail is horrible. Why? Stars, spikes, water thingy, and the connecting thingys? You can definitely add some more stuff into here. Gameplay? Well i can't really add it since its just one spike jumping. Although if i did, it would be pretty bad since it just a series of one spike jumping.
58%-67%: Alright. Wave part. I hope it is good! Okay, its pretty sketchy
The background tricked my more than 3 times cuz i thought they were blocks haha. And then i realized that the 3D square things were the blocks. Detail is bad. Why? Because Its blocks, and spikes. I couldn't really find the music sync much, until then i realized that you move the wave as the beat changes. Pretty cool. Gameplay again is fun adding with the music.
68%-78%: Surprisingly, i got passed this part first try. I clutched a bunch of parts. Detail is again bad since blocks, and spikes moving. Music sync is done well as always. You move the ball's gravity and goto orbs along with the music's beat. Gameplay is fun because of the music as always.
79%-87%: Detail is horrible. Just blocks and spikes moving... CMON MAN! Music sync is not marked because since its a ship one, i find ships the hardest parts so sync. Gameplay is fun again along with the music. I did not die here thankfully, even though my game froze.
87%-92%: Detail is.. yea you guessed it already. Its bad again. BECAUSE ITS BECAUSE ITS ONLY HAS BLOCKS! Music sync is perfect here. Jump when the music beat changes. Gameplay is good again. Why? Well you probably know since i included this like 3 times in this review now.
92%-100%: Detail... You already guessed it. Not saying the reason again because i said it over 4 times probably now. Though i feel like level judges are going to come and be like "Be more specific." So.. Its blocks, stars and spikes moving. Music sync is pretty hard to tell for the UFO part. And Gameplay... I died at the parts when you jump a few times and not touch the ceiling cuz u die.. Though its good
HO HO HO!
Detail: 3/10 This is too underdetailed. Mostly spikes, blocks, stars and orbs. I was going to be generous and give a "four" but you need to learn those mistakes.
Music sync: 9/10 This is done very well. There are lots of music sync throughout the whole level. Some parts don't since they are pretty difficult to sync. Good job with this.
Gameplay: 8/10 Starting from 58% the gameplay becomes the best. SO fun to play. Definitely check this out. Though the beginning is pretty boring.
Overall: 6.6/10 I really like this level in general, though the detail really screws it up. Definitely add more detail and maybe i will come back and give more of a positive judge, although i might not since this took an hour and five minutes haha. Anyway, Good job making this level!
Requesting to move this to the decent section.
Am i wrong?
