Hey guys, hope you're all enjoying April so far, BECAUSE I KNOW I'M NOT CAUSE MY INTERNET CAPPED ;4;...anyway, Ryumazaki and I have been working on this level for quite some time, and in my personal opinion it's my best level by far. The theme may be a bit overused in some people's opinion, but we were both highly satisfied with how the level turned out in the end, and now we are seeking some sort of positive response for all our work. The level itself is about 75 seconds long, and uses Dark Angel by F-777 as the song. Some decorative elements near the beginning were inspired by demon levels such as The Hell Factory and Necropolis (pls). Over 35k objects were used in total (yeah, LDM was fun to put together...). I created all of the gameplay and Ryu decorated half of the level (primarily after the drop). Sadly, I was unable to record a full video of the level without LDM enabled, as MY PC IS A SACK OF SH- my game would not be able to maintain a stable framerate whilst playing. The level itself is available for copy, however, so that you may have a look through without having to learn the gameplay. ID: 18539937Pass: 673316Recommended rating: Insane 8*The both of us worked acceptionally hard on this level, so I hope it will be judged fairly 8) EDIT 13/04/2016: Well guys, after only a week of being available, Dark Void has been rated Insane 8*. There are a lot of people I would like to thank, primarily:
* Ryumazaki * Conra17 * RobTop xd * JackTheFroster * Giron * SwfCapsLock * A lot of extra friends that don't play GD
Even though it's not featured, I still couldn't believe it when the "Geometry Star" achievement presented itself onto my screen. I don't know if I will continue to build, but if I do, my next level will come in 2.1... and will probably be demon

First off, I must say it's pretty obvious lots of work was put into this level. You two did a pretty exceptional job, especially with the "hell theme" you were planning. Gameplay: 8.5/10
The gameplay is pretty clever in some points. I found no bugs playing the level, even in the duals, which is pretty impressive considering the number of possibilities that can go wrong when making dual gameplay. All I can say for a possible negative in gameplay is be careful with your moving objects; don't make them so unpredictable that it becomes annoying. Overall nicely done, though! Design: 9/10
The custom background, the decor, the block design, it's all done outstandingly. It all fits together really well, and even though it's hell themed you used lots of unique ideas for the design I haven't seen in other levels before. The level uses lots of different ideas, but doesn't cut transitions so sudden it feels misplaced. Even the way some of the deco in the background moves, it just looks really cool altogether. Music sync: 8.5/10
Some parts could use a few improvements but most of the cube/robot/ball parts work really well syncing with the music. Originality: 8/10
Yeah, probably a lot of people will hate me for this rating. Although it is a hell-themed level which has been done many times, and also since you said that some of it is inspired by Necropolis and Hell Factory, there are some unique choices for design. Is it really that original? Definitely not, but I can see lots of your own ideas for design/decor easily in the level. Because of that, I don't think your grade should be destroyed for it's originality. Overall: 34/40 or 8.5/10 - Feature-worthy

Overall: 34/40 or 8.5/10 - Feature-worthyDang, wasn't expecting this to get a review so quickly I'm surprised this got such positive feedback... I mean, Ryu and I both worked very hard on this level, and we were both quite satisfied with the end result, but almost everybody I showed the level to told me that the theme was overused... I'm glad that you haven't put our level down due to this one factor, and that you have seen its true potential As for the moving objects, I tried not to use them for gameplay at all, however I ran into this odd bug at the drop, where jump pads wouldn't activate properly, and I had to substitute them for moving objects :/ I didn't feel the need to change the first wave at all, however, as the movements sync to the song, and can easily be learned. Originally, my ambition whilst building the level was to finally get a star rating, as that achievement had been screwing with my OCD for so long, and whilst Ryu and I believe it could have a chance, the fact that I am a relatively new and unnoticed creator could see that the level generally doesn't get as much attention as we feel it should. We just hope it will be able to pull through eventually, though Thanks for the review, anyway 8)

Well, in my opinion, this one lies BARELY on the precipice of feature-worthy. Based on the originality and at-times-buggy gameplay (the first ufo for example), some of this stuff just didn't really tickle my fancy. The design was alright, only some parts really stood out to me. I liked the cube and ball at around 63 percent or so. That was nicely done. I felt like some of it was just messy, like the beginning parts. Try working on making your levels streamlined and pleasing to the eye. I'd much rather look at a Taman level than a cluttered mess. Again, this is all strictly opinion. Since the review above was already made, I'm not gonna give much more critique here. Moving. EDIT: Also, this is NOT INSANE EIGHT DAMMIT. probably demon.

Even though I'm a little disheartened by some parts, I'm glad that this was given a more honest review The gameplay was tough to get right at times, and I really did try to make the gameplay viable for the first UFO (for example, I doubled the size of the orbs so they would register more often.) I contemplated toning down the decoration at the beginning so many times, but when I asked some of my GD friends about it, they said it was just fine, and when I told Ryu he could modify any of the decoration before the drop, he barely scratched it xD I still think Ryu himself did an amazing job with the parts that he decorated (primarily the drop onwards), and if he hadn't taken the level out of my hands, I doubt it would've ended up as "feature-worthy". Also, I really don't think our level is hard enough to be demon xP, Insane 9* max... if it does get demon, however, then I might be forced to roll out an update for difficulty balance, as I really don't think it's demon worthy...Once again, thanks for the honest review, and thanks for moving it to feature-worthy We can only hope now that RobTop somehow stumbles upon the level...
