Okay, I don't write reviews much, but I see some things here. Gameplay (4 points possible): I honestly don't like it. My big issue with the gameplay here was the use of sudden moving objects in the first cube and some other sections throughout. Just as a tip: Never use moving objects for gameplay unless they're predictable. As in the player knows, or can figure out, where the moving objects are going to go. Think about the arrows in Geometrical Dominator above the first 2 moving blocks. Or think about how moving objects were used in the first ship of Deadlocked and the ending ship of Geometrical Dominator. Those are good uses of moving objects. Using moving objects like in the last ship of Deadlocked is a bad use of moving objects for gameplay. That's probably why this is your level with the least likes, because people don't like the gameplay, and therefore dislike the level. Also, the same thing happens in the first UFO, and the first robot, and the first ball. That's the biggest issue right now. People NEVER like sudden moving objects, and while you know exactly where they are (you created it, of course it's stuck in your memory), other people playing your level don't. However, I noticed that the farther I got into the level the better the gameplay got. The other issue with gameplay really stuck out in the robot. I noticed that there were times where it was hard to see things that would potentially kill you. That's another thing players hate, is when they can't see what will kill them. I recommend you fix that too. Overall, I'd give this level a 1/4 in gameplay. The level just looks rage-inducing unless you practice due to the amount of sudden moving objects. Kind of makes players on edge, and more likely to screw up when there aren't moving objects. Deco (Again, 4 points possible): Overall, I liked the deco. The Custom BGs weren't too cluttery, but they still gave enough detail to make the level feel whole. However, the foreground is hardly decorated at all in the first section (and I can't really give you tips on it, I'm not good at it either), and both the first ship and second robot also feel somewhat empty. I'd recommend you add more deco to those parts. I also liked the colors in this level. Especially the colors in the first UFO. The other thing I want to talk about though is the "don't fade" button. It's the button in the bottom right of the edit group menu. Select all your backgrounds and activate it. That's the other issue with this level's deco. So, overall, I'd give this level a 2.5/4 in deco. It certainly wasn't the most spectacular thing I've ever seen, but it got the job done. But not using "don't fade" on BGs ruins a lot for me. Coin placement (1 point possible, 0.33 points for each coin): Unfortunately, I hate those coin placements. Coins 1 and 2 would've been ridiculous to find if it weren't for the video, and, dividing up the third coin into .11 for each key, you get .11, because the first and second keys are ridiculous to find. Rounding to the nearest tenth, you get a .1 in coin placement. Work on that. Music Sync (1 point possible): Nice job on this one. Not much to say here. 1/1. So... 4.6/10. I'd put it in the decent levels, personally, but I don't have the power to do that. I guess I'll wait and see if a judge approves this review. Again, the sudden use of moving objects is what's killing this level for me. If you could get rid of some of that, I would put this into good levels. Same with coin placement. undampedstraw

In my own opinion, you can't just judge gameplay by looking at the level, you have to experience it yourself. But thats your opinion, you stand by it. For the deco, yeah the first part and the second robot is very undecorated, those are my least favorite parts. And i haven't tried that "Don't Fade" button, i will have to try it out. For the keys, i have to refer back to gameplay. You don't see it in the video because Haso got the first coin, but once you pass the spikes the coin pops up. And if you look closely at the robot, the coins is there but flys up again, indicating that it is there. Now with the keys, to get one key you have get the other keys. What i mean by that is to get the second key you have to get the first key, and so on. To get the second key it is almost auto because once you get the key the gameplay of that part changes. Because of course i don't just give you the third key for free, lol. So i don't really agree with the coin part. So, the decoration part of this review is the only part i really agree on. Try and play levels before you rate them, because that can change the whole review :/ Plasmatic (Also, that least likes was posted the day this came out. Now it has nearly the most. Editing that now)

Alright, sorry for double posting, but just wanted to let you know: Just updated Revolt, changelog: Arrows come down earlier, lessoning the memory Made the first key A LOT easier, and its really easy to see now Added decoration to the last robot Made the first coin pop up right after you pass it, no way you can miss it now Made the wave+ship less cAncer Added a tiny bit of deco to the first part
Not sure what to do with the robot plus first part, will take time to think about it. Also, one less thing about your review: For the gameplay since i added the arrows dropping down earlier the predictability is a lot higher, but with the ship i shouldn't have to do anything because i feel it is very predictable because it is synced with the music, can you go into more detail? Anyways, from what i see is you have a problem with 3 parts. The level is 9 parts, so that would be 6/9 parts that would be ok. So that should be 66%, but the you put 1/4, when mathematically it should have been around 2.4/4 or something I'm to lazy to calculate it right now. I base my reviews around mathematics, you might not but thats what i do. Similarly, only 2 parts you had a problem with the deco, but i will also add .5 with the backgrounds. So that would be 7.5/9, also being near around 3/4, which is right around where you put it. I have already expressed my feelings on the coin rating, which i hope i fixed with this update.
I also hope with this update more people will play it when its featured, because it has been sent to Robtop : D

Kind of makes players on edge, and more likely to screw up when there aren't moving objects. I sadly agree with all of this. The moving objects was annoying and made the level less fun to play. Gameplay still was pretty interesting and in the later parts of the level it's better as you mentioned. Still a lot of moving blocks.Deco (Again, 4 points possible): Overall, I liked the deco. The Custom BGs weren't too cluttery, but they still gave enough detail to make the level feel whole. Yeah, deco was awesome! It was very detailed and had lots of deco. It's kind of unoriginal though and many of the concepts have been used before.Coin placement (1 point possible, 0.33 points for each coin): Unfortunately, I hate those coin placements. Coins 1 and 2 would've been ridiculous to find if it weren't for the video, and, dividing up the third coin into .11 for each key, you get .11, because the first and second keys are ridiculous to find. Also, Plasmatic I think 1 point is too little for music sync That is debatable though, some players don't mindmusic sync at all...So... 4.6/10. I'd put it in the decent levels, personally, but I don't have the power to do that. I guess I'll wait and see if a judge approves this review. Editing that now) Comments in bold, quoted both of you. Well, I liked this level's deco a lot. It was very detailed with lots of deco, just be more original next time. Gameplay was pretty annoying because of the moving objects and the little time to react to all of them. They just add to the frustration. Music sync was very well. Level wasn't really that original though. Imo this is low-end good. Even if the gameplay was really frustrating, deco is nice and music sync is awesome and you can clearly tell that you've put effort into the level Approved @plasmatic . Moving to good levels EDIT: I see you have updated it, will check it out. Won't move this right now EDIT2: Seen the update, first part is better, but still pretty sharp moving objects. The sawblades in the first part is also very annoying and probably should've been moved farther from the player. The red ship-part is somewhat laggy. Nice that you decorated the robot part better. Moving to good levels.

I know i am posting this really late, but i saw that there was a new section on the forum for sent levels. About two months ago my level was sent by FrostBolt to RobTop, and i was more or less waiting for this level to get featured, but two months later its still sitting idle. So if any judge sees this, can you move this into the Sent Levels section? Thanks.
