Made this level a month or so ago. Pretty much a "Meltdown" styled remix of Stereo Madness. Not expecting feature from this really, just wondering how it is for the judges. =} Hope you enjoy it!

That's actually better than the majority of the Meltdown themed levels. I think it needs more foreground structures though :/ Otherwise definitely feature worthy  |

I think it needs more foreground structures though :/ Otherwise definitely feature worthy Cool. By foreground structures, you mean in the spikes? Like more of those brick piles and stuff? |

Very nice level you got there! It's really nice to look at, gameplay looked alright, but not that interesting to be honest, music sync could need some improvement and deco could be a bit more detailed but it's fine. Maybe I'll do a full review, but for now I think it's at good.

Very nice level you got there! It's really nice to look at, gameplay looked alright, but not that interesting to be honest, music sync could need some improvement and deco could be a bit more detailed but it's fine. Maybe I'll do a full review, but for now I think it's at good. The sync with the drums and jump rings was hard to do but I know what you mean.Thanks! =} |

It's later! 8) Here's my review  It will be a bit shorter since the parts are pretty similar to each other and the "problems" are the same. The review will also be a bit different than earlier, 'cause I hadn't played it yet when I wrote it 8) Design: 8/10 - VERY nice design! It's calm, it's sweet, and the levels transitions are SPLENDID! I love this! I wish there was more clearer deco some places though. Let's look at the first blue part for example. Here it is a bit empty and I wish there was more deco which had 1 at opacity, and not only deco which had lower than 1 (Now I'm talking about the stars in the background etc.). All in all the design is pretty nice and simple, and even though some parts are simpler than others, it's still feature-worthy in my opinion Gameplay: 8/10 - The gameplay is actually very fun! I love it! I like that you also included the robot part This was a very nice v2 level and the gameplay was smart and creative. You even sneaked some parts from Back on Track ;p Gameplay is awesome as well (even though it looks very boring). Coin placements are great Music Sync: 7.5/10 - As you mentioned some jumps and orbs could be more synced, but this wasn't a really big problem to be honest. Originality: 6.5/10 - All in all it's not that original. It's based on stereo madness AND meltdown-style. However, the reason why I gave you a score higher than 5 (lol) is that the gameplay was really creative and the design as well, especially the custom-BG was really nice! I liked that you used these signal tower-ish deco in the background at the first part, that was really great! However, the level definitely could be more original Overall Score: 7.9/10 - Sorry for the short review... :/ I feel like I don't need to say that much more than what already has been said. Your level is a very nice stereo-meltdown-ish recreation and it uses a very calm and nice design too. Complaints: be more original, some parts in design. I think it's at the border of feature-worthy and good, but I put it in good because of originality and the design sometimes lacks. More opinions on this would be great. But I want to say that the level is A LOT better when you play it, compared to watching it. Nice job, Hyenaedon ! GOOD + |
