Yo, this is a really nice Level in my Opinion! I like this a LOT. I´ll make this my first Level Pick honestly, though others may just not even put this to good, but I love it. Especially the Gameplay!
First Cube: Wow, I think this looks really good, you used a cool Custom BG with Clouds to make an Intro to the Level, and the entire Colour of this Part makes a really good Atmosphere! Also I love how you did the Spikes, and there is nothing here that wouldnt be predictable in any way. You could have clearly put way more Deco though, and added more to the Custom BG. It also needs more Ground Deco, like the Grass, but the Gameplay here is just great!
First Robot: Basically the same as above, it just feels too empty and blank, and maybe you could have done the Transition differently too, like designing the Portal or making it invisible and indicate it, but that´s about all I have here.
First Ship: Some Complaint about the Transition again, it first looks like a UFO Part, because of the Orange Side Switch Portal, so I suggest making that invisible. Also, at the Transition, the Slopes are Cut-Off and dont look good. Give them some actual White (or maybe this beautiful Red
) Collision to make it look better and end the Slopes by mirroring them. Same for the End Transition to the Wave. About the Part itself, the Gameplay is great for an easy Level, but simple Sawblades are not a Beauty anymore in 2.0. I suggest replacing them with a Custom Object that has around the same Hitbox and decorating the entire Part a bit more as well, because again it feels pretty empty.
First Wave: Well, this Section feels kinda uncomplete, so let me give you Improvements. First, whenever the Background is not black, you should still leave the Collision white. Black Collision does not look good on black Slopes. Then I would generally design all the Slopes a Different and darker Way, since they dont really look good like this. I´m not sure what to exactly put there, but try to find something that matches the Style of the Level. Then, you should add Spikes on the Floor as well, as that makes the Gameplay feel smoother imo. Also, whenever the Background switches from Black to something else, dont make that be pink, but rather like a light or dark Gray, as that creates a better Atmosphere. Again, you should add some more Deco the empty Parts here, and finally, please make the Transition into the Cube clearer. You already indicated it, but maybe make it green or something, to make it clearer.
Second Cube: Apperently you missed the lower Collision Piece to pulse on the Blocks or something like that, it feels pretty awkward. Also, the first Jump is a bit stupid, I suggest putting a purple Jump Pad there that throws you onto it, otherwise it´s good, though again missing a lot of Deco.
First UFO: This is one of the best Parts of the Level honestly. Please just add some more Deco in the Air, let it be Clouds or Stars or whatever, and then this Part is really good. It also has some fun and easy Gameplay, though there is a lot of Copy + Paste. Also, replace the Saws with the Custom Objects for the Ship Part mentioned above too.
First Ball: Uhh, so empty again. Find a Custom BG for this Part please, that would already make it so much better, and maybe use some of these Fake Spike-Thorn Thingys in the Level Editor. Then, add more Deco overall, and connect the Blocks and the Spikes please, so it feels like one Part. Maybe you could indicate the Size Change differently as well, like with a Laser again, because just having it stand there is pretty plain. Lastly, when you Transition into the Cube, instead of having the Cube switch Gravity on Pads again, make a blue Portal please.
Third Cube: This one feels very rushed honestly. First, please don´t make Ending Parts like this on the Ground. Look at the Ending Part of the original Clutterfunk for Example, and put it more in the Air. Secondly, please dont make the Blocks pulse, especially in Pink. That just looks awful. Simply making it black Blocks it ok, if you want to have it Clutterfunk-Themed. Then, once again add more Deco. I think Clouds would fit here. And lastly, dont make Auto Parts with Gravity Pads End Parts please, maybe do it like in Clutterfunk, or mix it up a little from that. I´m sure you can do better than this.
Gameplay: 8.7/10 Very easy and mostly very fun, except for maybe the last two Parts, but generally I liked it a lot.
Music Sync: 6.4/10 It´s there for Transitions, and Things like Background Transitions are present as well, so you did put Effort into that, but at some Points you could have made the Gameplay sync more.
Design and Deco: 3/10 I´m sorry but this is heavily underdecorated! You need to add Deco in every Part, and maybe add some more Custom BGs and such. A lot of Things go well with the Clutterfunk Theme, just look. I´m sure you will find something.
Originality: 6.7/10 While it is based off of Clutterfunk, it actually feels way different most of the Time. This has some new and unique Things, and I like it, but again it lacks so much Deco. ._.
Extras: 4.4/10 I think the Level does create a good Atmosphere generally, but it switches up the Theme too often, e.g. Wave and Ball Parts. It is also lacking Moving Objects, and should have more Custom BGs honestly.
Score: 29.2/10 or 5.84/10,
2
Mid-Decent, but I´d really like you to overhaul the Level using all the Points I made, as I´d really want to see the Results of that, and then I think we can also put this to good somewhere if you do it well.
This Rating obviously comes from a Level-Judge Standpoint, while personally I still love it!
EDIT: Here is the Video for anyone who wants/needs it.
everyplay.com/videos/27445588 In the Vid the Music is off-sync a bit though, it syncs better in the actual Level.
