Well, one area that is always necessary to improve on is fill as much leftover empty space as you can with deco (this problem was found a bit in the beginning and end sections). That being said, I actually liked much of the designs with the 1.5 blocks in the end, especially for an old-styled level. Gameplay is also pretty good, not having speed changes obviously is a setback because this level could've looked more appealing with it, but it's for a 1.6 contest so I guess that's okay. Honestly it's a good level rating for me. Not perfect, but well designed and with a little bit more deco this could've been a serious contender for Zobros' contest.

Me reviews aren't as detailed as your's but I'll do my best. (hopefuly) -Gameplay- [3.8/4] Very creative as for 1.6. There are so many different and interesting mechanics like blue jump pads under platforms at ship and UFO parts and pink orb jumps at mini UFO part. Memorization exist but it's not as cancerous as in 2.0 levels. Some fakes make it much more interesting without destroying fun from play. Jumps are timied perfectly and fast transitions before the last ship part gives it a little dynamics. But that transition from mini UFO to (mirrored) mini ship is sometimes a little frustrating. Overall, it's so great. -Design- [2.5/2.5] So many kinds of design. Simple, more complicated but all of them looks fantastic. Incredible combinations make it looks so modern and nice for eye. Also idea of changeing spikes into platforms was interesting, maybe as interesting as 3D effect at UFO part on 80%. Second mini ship looks rushed a little but this is the only disadvantage. -Decorations- [1.9/2.5] I can deduce you tried to not overdecorate your level. Mostly deco is simple but creative at once. Cube parts have IMO too less decorations and looks a little empty. As I see you generaly used there pulsating shapes or decorations on spikes (and rotatings on orbs and saws). Static decorations like insides between two obstacles/platforms etc. would give it better look. -Music Sync.- [0.8/1] Kinda delayed at some parts but it's mainly a issue of taste. -Summary [9/10 Feature-Worthy] This level is a 1.6 piece of art. You even avoided copy and paste. IMO cube parts could be better decorated, like first cube part. It has some places that can be filled with pulsating/static decorations. Second cube part has the same problem. Maybe you should think about decorations with unconventional shapes? Mini ship at 69% presents itself kinda poor. I think some static decorations could make it less empty. I owe you this review for your review of Devastation Dash.

Are you sure hexagon pulse things were introduced in 1.3? I am pretty sure they were from 1.8, everyone correct me if I'm wrong.

If it doesn't win, i don't think what will.
It's the perfect combination of gameplay and decoration. And all with 1.6 stuff...omh.. Kinda reminds me of old funnygame levels.
Conclusion: This can't be improved.
